Every dish is cooked to order and please give yourself enough time to enjoy your food by coming in 2 hours early if you have tickets to shows. Gluten Free available, Vegan and lots of Vegetarian dishes to pick from..
This was the worst service experience I have ever had. The food took a long time but that was expected but they sent the wrong dish to my table. Then we were told It would be ten minutes. However this was not the case at all. We waited a half an hour were offered a drink but then it turned into almost an hour and when my family finally said something to the waitress, the daughter of the owner escalated things by yelling for her father who confronted my mother and proceeded to ignore and tell us we were wrong that it was only starters that were quick but refused to acknowledge that we were asking for our starters . Then the other owner came out and proceeded to dismiss us and tell us we were wrong it was only ten minutes. They were incredibly rude and unapologetic about the mistake. Then proceeded to pretend we were not at the restaurant. I would never comer back .

Drove past a few nights and seen the lines every night so we decided to try. Just OK would be my opinion, soft serve didn't have much taste and the hot fudge tasted like they bought it at a discount store. Very disappointed.

On the corner of Linden & North it's a sleepy cafe where locals come to unwind or camp out on their laptops. Seasonal drinks on the menu like apple cider and cardamom cappuccino(which is entirely way too sweet and doesn't taste of cardamom at all despite my checking with the barista beforehand). Rustic meets hippy decor with average coffee - you might want to hold out for some of the coffee shops in Lenox if you're headed that way.

If you are passing through the area this restaurant is worth giving a try. Although my experience was not top notch I suspect they could provide an above average dining experience normally as it appears as if they are busy most of the time.
Their menu is a mixture of gastropub and brew pub food. Of the few dishes we ordered one was very bland (Piedmont Toast) and the other was badly burnt (Butternut Squash Quesadilla) . Since the entire wait staff appeared to be teenagers, we choose not to send either dish back as the level of professionalism was questionable.
They have a great beer selection!

District Kitchen & Bar, nestled amidst the bucolic Berkshire HIlls, serves contemporary American cuisine with gastropub influences. The surrounding region boasts a rich food and agricultural culture of which the restaurant takes full advantage by offering an ever-changing seasonal menu showcasing locally sourced ingredients. District takes food seriously, preparing all food in-house and to-order according to the culinary whims of executive chef Taylor Hitchcock and his talented support staff. Sister restaurant to PUBLIC eat+drink located 20 miles north in North Adams, District prides itself on not only serving great food but also offering excellent, warm service and a top-notch beer, wine, and cocktail program. The restaurant features a rotating selection of craft beer, a carefully curated wine list, and an inventive, seasonal cocktail list prepared with care and consideration of classical mixology techniques. Join us for a great meal and a well-mixed drink.
Didn't know what to expect but was delighted with what we discovered. Our party of 6 sat in the front window at a long barter table.Tacos, burgers, mussels, salads and salmon all made the rounds at our table, and everyone enjoyed every bite. Comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere, service was great. Would definitely go again!

We were entertaining guests and decided the deck at Matt Reilly's was the place to be. We were seated immediately and the server took our drink order. When she came back with the drinks we were still talking and hadn't looked at the menus. In some places the server would not hide their annoyance but this server was most gracious and patient. The food arrived promptly and was exactly what was ordered: eggplant fries, chowder, sandwiches. Everything that should be hot was, the sandwiches were tasty and well seasoned. This is NOT fine dining, paper plates, plastic drinking cups, all served on a large, mostly clean deck. It's a great choice for late lunch, not too busy and a delightful view of the lake and hills.

Based on so many positive reviews and my love of all things South American, I went to Fogata for lunch. I had an empanada which was red(?) and filled mostly with potato. It was tasteless and bought, sadly I thought, on a big white plate all alone with no garnish. No water was offered, I had to ask for it.
For my entree, I had their carne asada. The plantain tasted more like a banana, the beans were a tasteless wet puddle in the middle of the plate but the steak was tasty and cooked as ordered (rare). Hence three stars. The pricing is fair but I'm not sure how authentic their food is (based on my having lived in S. America for a year).

Bascom Lodge is an AMC lodge on the Appalachian Trail. It accommodates day and long-term hikers. But what you didn't know is that it serves three meals a day from the summit of Mt. Greylock (3500' elevation), the highest mountain in Massachusetts. You can drive up. Breakfast and lunch are simple and delicious; dinner requires advance reservation and vegetarian options are available. We went up for breakfast, the best classic breakfast ever, and all seats look out over the Berkshires. There is no better view! And the price is great, too. Our favorite place in the Berkshires. Next time, we'll sleep there, too!
