Pennsylvania Dutch country is a fascinating destination to explore. Visitors will get a glimpse of farm life as it was in the early 1800s. Visit markets and farm stores for homemade shoofly pie and fresh produce, or shop for a handmade quilt. President James Buchanan's elegant home, Wheatland, is no less historic but contrasts sharply to the simpler Pennsylvania Dutch heritage sites in Lancaster. Consider a side trip to nearby Hershey, home of Hershey Park and the Hershey chocolate factory.

My husband and I have enjoyed Sunday brunch buffets at many fine hotels in America--this is one of the best. First, there is just the incredible variety of foods.. Second, the portion sizes make it easy to sample and then decide if you want more. Third, the waitstaff is quite attentive--we never waited long for a refill on our champagne nor for them to remove dirty plates. We treated our three grandfamilies to the brunch this last visit: everyone from the 4 year old to the teens to the adults were totally happy with their food and the experience.

We ate here for several breakfasts while in Lancaster. I don't know that I've ever had a more perfect breakfast...great friendly service, perfect coffee, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, roasted tomatoes all the way that I like them. In addition, the prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to return

Just got back from the buffet. It was OK. Nothing special. Hoping to get this great sampling of Himalayan / Nepalese food but really disappointed. Pretty much contained the basics. We got there just as it opened. Surprised how dry the Tandoori chicken was. Suggest ordering off of the menu if you go. Of course, everybody loves the naan, and rightfully so. I think we’ve come to the comclusion that this cuisine just isn’t our cup of tea.

Chick-fil-A, home of the famous Original Chicken Sandwich, Waffle Potato Fries, and warm hospitality, loves to serve Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. If you're hungry for chicken, you've come to the right place. ;) Please tell us about your visit! We love serving guests both local and out-of-town, and are always looking for how we can improve!
The restaurant is very clean, pricing is fast food average, the Staff is friendly and helpful. The faire is typical fast food, nothing stands out pro or con. Visited on a Friday about 1:30 PM, not too busy but a steady stream of Customers. If you like chicken and your want it quickly without any surprises, good or bad, then this restaurant is for you. If you want a better meal and are willing to trade some of your time you can do much better.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner. Our server, Tate was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. The special appetizer, Chicken and Waffles was out of this world. My cousin loved the Tuna Tartar. Everyone was really happy with their menu choice. You can tell the chef puts a lot of thought into the dishes. I recommend this place for a special celebration.

Famous for serving breakfast all day, including homemade buttermilk pancakes and outstanding traditional local fare, there is something for everyone. Always busy for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Agadis family looks forward to providing their customers with fast and friendly service, a great meal at a fair price in a warm setting in the beautiful Lancaster County landscape. We look forward to seeing you.
I like to try different dishes. This time it was Asian Ribs. Sauce was not bad, the problem was finding meat on the ribs. I never had ribs with more fat than meat. The meat I did find was good. Baked sweet potato was very good, but the 5 way vegetables were only frozen mixed vegetables. By the time I got to the vegetables, after rooting through fat to get some meat, they were almost cold. My husband had the Turkey, stuffing, baked sweet potato and 5 Way vegetables. That was good, as always.

Located in a former factory building. Attractive interior, but seating is cramped. The menu was small but our entrees of beef and chicken were prepared as asked, were tasty and overall were excellent. We had wine at $12.50 per glass which is too high! Overall enjoyed the experience but probably not return due to high prices.

During renovations, workers found in the floor beams a signed inspection stamp--November 5, 1890--with the name of tobacco inspector John J. Jeffries. We named the restaurant after him.

We’ve designed our menu based on local, seasonal, sustainable and organic agriculture and delicious recipes. Please join us and taste the difference of local farm-to-table sustainable cuisine in one of Lancaster's best fine dining restaurants.
As the Chefs and Owners of John J Jeffries, we believe you will find our passion for supporting local businesses and preserving the land we live on, to be contagiously obvious in how we run our restaurant.
All of our meats are raised locally, confinement-free on fresh green grass pastures. My husband and I had dinner at John J Jeffries prior to going to a show at the Fulton Theater. We had heard so much about it, but were unfortunately disappointed in our meal.
Because it's farm to table, the choices are limited unfortunately. My husband had duck, I had a steak, which was fatty and chewy. I was not pleased.
Ambiance is wonderful - in the Lancaster Arts Hotel in Lancaster. However, the meal was very disappointing.
Sorry, we won't return.

We visited Arthur’s as something special to celebrate our son’s 40 th birthday. We were treated like royalty. The waitress brought 6 of us prime rib done to each persons exact preference. The presentation of food at the buffet was very tastefully done. Dee, the waitress went out of her way to please us in every way. She brought a birthday piece of cheese cake with a wonderful berry sauce on the side. She topped it with a candle & led us in singing Happy Birthday. She even took an interest in our grand daughter’s pictures of an animal show she had seen that day. And since our grand daughter had been unable to get reservations for her birthday the month before, the waitress talked to the manager to get her a free birthday meal card for her birthday. This was to make up for her not being able to get in for her birthday. This was an especially pleasing experience.

Unfortunately we are not close to this place but when in the area we go back. Again a great meal this time trying a few different things. This time we tried different things then before and they great. I got a beef dish which included rice and a small salad, my wife got a similar pork dish. Again great flavors, and fresh food. We also got the ice tea with lime which is very good. Fun place.
