Let's start with the positives. This restaurant is set on the Wang River, and there is probably no better place to be for lunch or dinner in Lampung than looking out at this pretty river, with the blue hills in the distance. Secondly, the staff provided good service and spoke English well. But these positive points were balanced by a couple of negatives.
First, the restaurant is expensively priced for Lampang. You will pay twice the price here for Thai standards that you would at most places in Lampang or the North of Thailand generally. I guess you're paying for that view. The other negative point is that we asked for the food to be spicy and the laab came extremely bland without a hint of chilli. Thinking that all farangs can't stand the heat is just not true.

located on hwy 1037, this small restaurant offers an interesting menu (in English), good service and good food. I ordered a curry with prawns 8/10, cost 90 baht (small size), also a Leo beer cost 70 baht and served in a iced glass. The meal I ordered can also be upsized to a x-large bowl for 130 baht, the restaurant has free Wi-Fi, air con and an outdoor area.

Small restaurant and coffee shop in central location offering a wide selection of popular Thai and Western dishes, in a private garden setting. Pool table and Bar also available as well as Table tennis at certain times of the week. https://map.what3words.com/hasten.party.savings
had lunch there, good food (sandwich, fries, hamburger) and right price for the good quality. When we visited there weren't many people, the service has been fast. the only little minus point is that the hangout café is a little bit far (walking) from Lampang's center but I really recommend this place is you want to have a break from thai food

I couldn't figure out how to add a restuarant to review that wasn't listed. It is mentioned in a number of hotel reviews for Lampang and is a great place to eat.
This place was recommended to us, but it didn't live up to our expectations. It was busy, but the staff just seemed to be standing around not doing very much. I get the feeling that they were maybe students earning a bit of money, but they didn't seem to know what they were doing. When we were ready to order we had to get someone's attention, and then we had to get their attention again when we wanted the bill. It was crowded, hot and dark, so not a great atmosphere. The food was good though, and cheap, but I'd rather pay a bit more for a better experience.

Our operating hours are: 5:00pm-9:00pm Tuesday-Sunday. We are a small family-run pizzeria located in the historic "Walking Street" area of Lampang. We specialize in New York Style Pizza following the same techniques as you would find in New York itself. We take great pride in the quality of our products and our positive customer feedback is a testament to that. We offer only one type of crust, which is typical of NY pizza. It has a thin base with a puffy outer rim. We have a small menu featuring our Pizzas (10" & 14"), Salads, Pastas, Calzones, and Drinks. We warmly welcome both vegetarians and vegans as we have pizzas that fit both dietary choices. We look forward to seeing you in lovely little Lampang!!!
We found this place down a side street when visiting the great night market.
It's a friendly western type place in a city which doesn't have a lot of western eatery offerings. ( not necessarily a bad thing ! )
The service was first class friendly prompt and my companion rated our very large pizza as one of the best he has eaten !
The place is frequented by the few western tourists like us who visit Lampang and the odd expat who lives there.
Recommended as a great place for a feed and a beer !

This odd looking riverside restaurant offer great food but you will need transport to get here.
For a total of 270 baht I received 1 large singha beer, 1 bucket ice, 1 bowl of rice, 2 plate's food, the food was good quality, the pork spare ribs cooked in wine was delicious 9/10 and the cucumber salad with sweet mustard mayonnaise was fresh and tasty 10/10.
The restaurant has 2 levels, I dined in the lower section which is uninspiring but on offer is air conditioning and free Wi-Fi and live music after 7 pm. The upper level is a more interesting timber structure with Terrace.

I came here to try their version of Khao soi, this restaurant is inconveniently located in a residential area of Phrabat district so its not suitable for a tourist.
I ordered the Khao Soi with chicken, the chicken leg had a white sauce coating and the curry flavour was slightly different to other version's I have tried, 8/10 cost 40 baht.
The restaurant had no Wi-Fi and no air conditioning, they also have an area for easy car parking.

New Seafood provides a refreshing change to Lampang's Thai fare. In addition to standard Chinese-style seafood items (I had the baked mussels accompanied by a spicy sauce) they serve up tasty vegetable plates such as Chinese greens (I had a plate of local mushrooms -- very good!). I enjoyed the ice cream with assorted beans on top. Service was good-- an English speaking waiter was very friendly. This restaurant is at the edge of the guest house district by the Wang River -- it is worth walking a few extra steps!

This stylish little café located inside a 2 storey hostel has the best tasting smoothie's, its called the "float" (a smoothie topped with whipped cream and 1 scoop of ice cream), 10/10, cost 79 baht. I also tried their carbonara spaghetti, very tasty 8/10, cost 75 baht ( small serving).
The Prink also serves cheap thai food, coffee and tea and a good selection of ice cream.
