We've had a lovely lunch at this cosy restaurant on the river bank. The surrounding nature is simply gorgeous. They serve a large variety of traditional dishes and good wine. Everything was delicious. The staff is very attentive and helpful.

Staying just for one night, we didn't really place too much importance on the accommodation quality and wanted something cheap and cheerful. Leon is a friendly place with simple rooms, shared but overall quite clean toilet and bathroom facilities. The only down side was a small mold stain on the wall in our room. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise-rich and offerring several alternatives to choose from.

Stopped here for lunch last week with my daughter, sat on the Terrace overlooking the river, initial problems with the language however a very helpful and funny waiter from LA works here and he not only translated the menu but also took the time to describe each dish and tell us which ones he liked. We had the lamb cutlets which were really nice, the whole meal helped down with a really good beer!!!.

D'acces facile et proche d'un parking,ce confortable restaurant vous proposeses produits du terroir.Il y a jusqu'a 120 couvertspour y deguster les specialites regionales ainsi que le gibier et les moules en saison.
We arrived late, the kitchen was closing but the friendly waitress took pity on us (we were tired and starving) and gave us a table. My mussels were nice, French fries were decent. My daughter was not too crazy about her chicken (a bit too buttery for her taste) but it was actually quite tasteful. The place feels nice. Would definitely go back.

Excellent meal from the set menu beautifully served by two very hard working ladies, hats off to their level of service including ability to have a joke with diners. Started with fois gras, then mushroom in pastry, fruit sorbet, magnet de canard and finally nougat dessert. Phew, what a meal, it was simply wonderful. Two lovely house wines, white and red, added the finishing touches. Definitely recommend a visit if you can get in, try to reserve as the restaurant is on the small side. Worth a visit to La Roche En Ardennes all by itself. Congratulations to owner, chef and waitresses.

We initially visited this riverside café–bar for coffee, but liked it so much we stayed for lunch! The main attraction is the Terrace with its views across the River Ourthe to the castle ruins opposite. It was a fine day and our early arrival had enabled us to secure a table by the river, so we had every reason to linger. After we’d downed our cappuccinos, we all ordered tartines. My ‘Le Nordique’ consisted of a fresh bread roll spread with cream cheese and topped with smoked salmon accompanied by an attractive salad garnish. It was generous and tasty. We drank Belgian beer. Our pleasant young waitress was friendly and coped admirably with the lunchtime rush of customers (which included a large group), so we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Well worth a visit if you should find yourself in this attractive Ardennes town.

The small restaurant is next to the shop where you can order cold meat such as salami and ham from Ardennes. All the meat is prepared in house and is of excellent quality.
I had chosen a plate of IGP Ardennes Ham and the meat was wonderful.
I have also purchased some of this ham to take away in the shop.

This restaurant was a joke, the service was completely disinterested and completely unfriendly, ...you could see her tapping her foot while we were ordering, even though it was not a particularly busy night.
The Chicken Satay came without Satay sauce, and when we asked for it, the pretended not to know what that was !
The Peking Duck came with a pile of cold soggy material about the size of a (small) Smartphone, ...when I asked what it was, they told me it was the pancakes =o
Overall, my worst Chinese Restaurant experience in a very, very long time
