A lovely outside courtyard, as well as an inside tables. Very good Italian. Nice variety, everything was good. Good service, although limited English. Looked like very good pizza too, although we did not try it. Very nice alternative for La Paz Mexican food.

Headquarters of the renowned Tailhunter Sportfishing Fleets, the Roldan Family's uniquely diverse menu specializes in the freshest seafood and local specialties with their very own Island flair. Featuring great music, fishing and Surfing videos, sporting events, ice cold cocktails and front row seats to the best sunsets in The Baja.
The food was amazing. Not to mention Dani was an amazing waiter with great English. The only downside is there wasn't an English menu however Dani helped us figure out what everything meant. Highly recommend checking out Tailhunter while you are in La Paz as this was one of our favorite restaurants

My husband and I have been traveling to La Paz for over 10 years but this is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review for any of the many restaurants we've frequented there. For us, what stands out about Azul Marino is consistency...the food, the service, the ambiance and the attitude...year after year.
The food is always fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. You can actually taste the quality of the ingredients. Our favorite appetizers are the Lamb Burrito and Caprese Salad. For an entree, my husband loves the Beef Tenderloin or Spaghetti Bolognese and I'm always torn between the Flambeed Shrimp, whatever fish dish they have or the chicken. And should you be lucky enough to have room for dessert, either Crepe is amazing. They also have a very good wine list.
The service is impeccable with genuinely amiable staff. We're always welcomed warmly with smiles, handshakes and even hugs from everyone from servers to chefs to owners.
The ambiance is casual and relaxing. There is outdoor Seating around the expansive Costa Baja Marina as well as indoor Seating for when the days or evenings turn cool.
And all of the above is offered at a great value!

There are a couple of these, but this one is only open at night - fancier than the Malecon partner that serves tacos. Very nice place
Ate here twice and both times we had great service and delicious food!!!!
They serve their tacos with a condiment tray of peppers, cabbage, salsa, etc...all fresh and divine.
They have on the street Seating right on the Malecon great for people watching.
Very family friendly too, food for our 7 year old’s palate as well.

While the food and the service at Las Tres Virgenes are generally excellent, we found the prices to be a bit exorbitant for La Paz. There is no doubt that the setting and the ambiance is also excellent but we could not give LTV 5 stars based on their over charging for their drinks. For example we were very disappointed to pay $190 pesos for a weak margarita.
In summary, this is a nice restaurant but certainly on the expensive side of the value equation compared to others in La Paz.

Los Magueyes is a very popular dining place for Ex-Pat Americans and many visitors, as well as locals in the State Capitol of La Paz.
Went here for lunch yesterday as it was just a block away from our hotel on a scorching hot day, and the reviews for its “authentic Mexican”cuisine were glowing.
The key here is we were looking for AUTHENTIC Mexican. Upon arrival, it appeared we had stumbled into a Mexican Disneyland... decor is over-the-top Mexican hacienda...but the A/C hit us like a cool wave of liquid relief and we were sucked in. The service was perfunctory and we had to work to elicit even a hint of a smile from either the hostess or the waiter, who seemed alternately very bored or very inconvenienced by our presence. Menus appeared after not too long a wait (the place was nearly empty at 1:30). It was in English with photos of the food. Hit with this foreboding tip-off we should have left right then and there, but our margaritas arrived and lulled us into a false sense of well-being.
I decided on the Magueyes combo (steak and Chile relleno) and my husband got the Magueyes Classic (steak fajitas style). The bright spot in our meal arrived after we ordered -a delicious, spicy house-made salsa trio. Then the food arrived. I tucked instantly into my Chile relleno and found it was cold on the inside. I looked for our waiter but he had disappeared. So I started on the flank steak while it was still hot... it was good but nothing special. I was finished with the steak and our waiter still had not come by to check how we were doing. My husband had to wave down another staffer in the empty restaurant. I explained that the relleno had arrived cold. Their response was to take my plate, nuke it, and return it. What can you do... I tasted it and it was certainly burning lava-hot from the nuking but the Chile was now tough and rubbery. I had no idea that authentic Mexican cuisine requires a microwave. In sum, not recommended unless you absolutely need A/C to eat a meal.

In Arcata, CA lives Los Bagels, which until now had no competition. The Smoked Marlin everything bagel with chipotle cream cheese, and capers the size of olives, is equal to the goat cheese albacore bagel from The Redwoods. On a quiet section of Dominguez, off...MoreThank you very much for your review, we really appreciate....gracias

You couldn't ask for fresher fish. Great catch of the day. Good tacos, ceviche, service. When you see where the locals are eating, go there..

There is no view and it doesn't matter, it's full of all locals, no tourists and there is a reason for that, the locals know where to eat! We had mixed seafood cocktails, chocolata clams (my favorite clams), callos de hacha scallops and crap tostadas and it was all of the best I've ever had!

Been here twice in the past two years and would definitely come again. Breakfast both times. Decor is authentic Mexican and the tables outside are completely shaded yet you feel like you are completely outside. Maria California omelette was superbe and the San Vicente eggs were delish. Attentive service. Friendly waiters. Will DEFINITELY come again.
