The tortilla soup is DELICIOUS, and the variety is a welcome change from pupusas after pupusas. The menu is super varied and you can easily be full here for under $5- great value.Dear Hanna Mendoza, I am happy you enjoyed the tortilla soup! Please come back anytime. Somos un restaurante que ha sido concebido para cumplir con las más altas normas de comodidad, servicio, seguridad y privacidad para nuestros clientes.
The food was very average at this place for the price. The beer selection is good though and the view is nice but you can’t actually see the sunset from here. The pasta was horrible and had no sauce on it tasted like fishy seafood only. The pizza was average, better food in el Tunco.

What an awesome restaurant with a beautiful view!
We were in El Salvador on business and our vendor brought us here for dinner. While we had been to the Beto's in Santa Tecla, this location is outstanding. Situated on the beach front cliff, the view is absolutely spectacular. We arrived in time to watch the sunset and relax over some appetizers and drinks. We had enough appetizers that we all ended up getting small entrees or splitting entrees. There was a lot to eat ... all of it excellent.
The other reviews cover the food and view pretty well so let me point out one item for those of you who might be staying in Santa Tecla or the San Salvador metro-area: The drive is long (about 45-60 minutes) and winding. If you're prone to motion sickness be advised...There were fourteen of us packed into a full-sized van and just about all of us were either dizzy, nauseated, or had a headache by the time we stopped. It was the un-fun version of Mr Toad's Wild Ride.
That said, I am sincerely glad we made the trek. This is a spectacular view-restaurant with food that is equally impressive.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have been in Central America! The scene is awesome, the ocean pool is breathtaking, waves hit the pool wall and splashes all over. Simply amazing! The big problem is that they changed the concept of the place and is too crowded... Feels like being in the market downstreet. Packed with bunches of people! Try going on between tuesday-thursday. 3.5~4 stars because the place is awesome!

Bar . Hotel. Restaurante
We found this place while looking for that super fit place for us. This is a great hotel with bungalow rooms that feature separate entrances from the courtyard. They are spacious with great beds and unique waterfall showers. The restaurant/ bar has great food with local dishes and also international cuisine. The staff at this place is very accommodating, everyone is friendly and helpful and eager to serve. We made this our home base to explore the real estate of El Salvador. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here.

We are a small Restaurant and Hotel that provides a relaxing and stress-free environment to enjoy a pleasant day at the beach with your loved ones. We are open for 1-day visit to use all facilities for free by only eating at our Restaurant or overnight. Special price for long stays. We also offer tours and transportation. Personal attention given by owners.
The dining area IS close to the beach but, unfortunately, the kitchen is NOT close to the restaurant/dining area. Food is OK - certainly nothing special. For El Salvador, it seems very expensive. For breakfast on my next to last day, I had the "Tropical Almanacer" which was fresh fruit with yogurt and honey. What I got was a big goblet with lots of water melon (it's in season now and very cheap), with a little mango, and about a tablespoon of yogurt. And I think it was about $7.00.
The seafood entrees are OK, but I would not make a special trip to come here for a meal. It's just "OK" and the service is VERRRRRRy slow. If you order a drink it comes pretty quickly, but if you order a second it could take upwards of 15-20 minutes - even if you are the only customer.
In general, service is NOT a priority at this place.

The service was prompt and friendly, the prices were reasonable (at least for a tourist - I am sure they are high by El Salvador local standards), and the seafood was fresh and prepared very nicely. My wife had the mixed seafood ceviche and I had the grilled shrimp. Both were delicious, and the portions were generous without being grotesque. The Salvadoran beer is fairly light, but it goes well with sun and sea. The strolling mariachi band seemed talented, though I am certainly no expert in that type of music. Pretty overt security presence; seemed like the place is frequented by tourists and well off local residents. Not a place to mix and mingle with the common man, which is either a plus or a minus depending on the experience you are seeking.

Out of the way, down a nondescript road lies one of the most spectacular restaurants in El Salvador. Simple, rustic, beautiful! Food was high quality and tasty. it wasn't fancy, just simple food, chicken, fish, frijoles, fries, vegetables, but, prepared perfectly over an open flame. The view, overlooking coffee fields, Mountains and Forests. The grounds, unbelievable, flowers of types I have never seen, scents, and colors and the smell of a wood burning stove. Just perfect. Very romantic.
