The ambience is based on ancient Greece, or something similar. It is very private, suitable for couples on dates or friends who really need to do a lot of catching up. I took my wife and she loved the ambience, dim lighting and most importantly the food and dessert. It wasn't something to rave about, but at the same time not disappointing at all. A 3.5 rating in all.

It is one of the first fast-food cafes opened in Tomsk, very popular with locals. Good thick pan pizzas sold by piece or whole. The variety is not very large. French fries.
I've tasted berry milkshake, it was too sweet and watery.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is often full so it's better to use a takeaway option.

As I always say, we step out of our homes where we can cook absolutely anything we want mainly so we can experience different cuisines and an ambiance that is different from home. This place served that description right!!! Right from the exteriors to the interiors, details were well thought and in place. The staff was welcoming, unlike some places where you enter and find your own way to a table. The menu was easy to understand with pictures and the lady waiting our table willing to help us understand the dish better. The music was pleasant, and we always enjoy seeing others dance and make a mockery of themselves. Haha. The food was in good portions and quite worth the experiment. I would recommend this restaurant in the top 5 to try in Kursk. 4 star rating.

Ресторан в здании гостиницы Аврора, видимо название ассоциируется со знаменитым крейсером. Зал с простой расстановкой столов. Меню русской и европейской кухни. Традиционная подача блюд.

The place is located at the beginning of the central street, which makes it easily accessible. We were starved even before we reached there and so we were hoping the place lived upto its 'large portions' reputation. Well it really did, the ambience was different although not with too much detail. The food was good, good service and the portions were indeed large (more than we could finish). The Napolean cake was the best my wife tasted in Kursk. All in all a 4-star review.

We were famished by the time we finished the visit to the Kursk Medical university/Znamenskiy Cathedral and the Church of Resurrection. I had wanted to visit Amsterdam café (which had good reviews in the Trip advisor). Unfortunately me and Alexander - my cabbie, missed it two times. So we decided to park and look for it. Where we parked was this Hotel Prestige. Since we were hungry we decided to give this a try and leave Amsterdam café alone.
The interiors are nicely done
I had Borsch - traditional Russian Beetroot soup and Pork steak. The soup and the steak were excellent.
After having the food had a discussion with Alexander and he also said the Solyanka (Russian sweet & sour beef soup) and the fish he had was also great.
The menu offered is having a variety of things to choose from.
As usual I wish to thank Alexei (could not read the full name is Russian) for giving us a nice service.
At the end to tell the truth, I think our decision to not look for Amsterdam café was a bad one, as we enjoyed a nice service and lunch at the Prestige.

The waiters were slow and obviously wanted to go home. That effected the mood of my company. The food was OK when it arrived. I haven't returned since that experience. There are better restaurants within walking distance.
