Living restaurant and bar in a heart of historical town Beroun is a gastro-pub/bar serving burgers, BBQ from own texas smoker, tapas, tex-mex, and seasonal specialties, in a friendly informal atmosphere. Great cocktails, moravian beer Holba and small Breweries beer specials, local and international wines from small wineries. The selection of fresh and high quality ingredients is matter-of-course both in the kitchen and on the bar.
This will be unusual review, because I don't eat yet. All reviews that says waiters here are terrible they are right. Moreover waiters are so dumb, they cant remember order of four hamburgers (story of table behind me). I hope that cooks don't forget how to make burger. Any restaurant is good as service they provide. Make your opinion and write review here because you will have plenty of time while you wait.

After a visit to the castle, we had a very nice lunch at this restaurant. The restaurant was the former home of the game master and is very picturesque on the mill creek. The service was quick and the food was very reasonably priced. It is also a very quick walk from the restaurant to the train station. They have several traditional venison dishes.

Restaurant Nad Hradem (Restaurant Above the Castle) is located in the town of Krivoklat, about an hour west of Prague. The village's famous medieval castle gives the restaurant its name. Featuring a pleasant atmosphere, good service and quality meals, this place makes a great stop for lunch and/or dinner during a day trip to see the castle.
The menu features a wide array of meat and fish entrees, salads, vegetarian meals, and regional game specialties like venison and wild boar. At mid-day, there are traditional Czech ready-to-eat meals at a very reasonable price. In the evening, the menu features cooked-to-order entrees for slightly higher but still reasonable prices. Several local beers are on tap.
In the warmer months, there's outside dining in a lovely courtyard. Inside, there's a nice dining room with an old-timey decor and a bar for those who want to watch the latest sports event. The restaurant also has separate rooms to host banquets and weddings. The service is attentive and professional, and the meals are very well prepared and presented. Their desserts are fantastic!
Since we have family in the area, we have been eating at this restaurant for the past five years whenever we visit the Czech Republic, and the food and service have remained consistently excellent. The only negative thing is that smoking is allowed inside (which is typical of many Czech restaurants).

Without a doubt this place is miles above the rest of the places in town. It serves up authentic Italian Food and Wine to go with it. They have a wood fired pizza oven in the restaurant so you can watch chef make your pizza before your eyes and its great Pizza. They have a great range of Pastas all made to your liking using freshly made pasta. Italian wines, great Czech Beer, awesome atmosphere. You want the best at a reasonable price go here.

Perfect beer, amazing Czech cuisine, nicely served, communicative English speaking service. Restaurant welcomes it's guests with warm decoration of one hundred years ago (so called FIRST REPUBLIC) with perfect view on local square. Unfortunately there is not so much place to sit on lunch - if you want to be sure of having seats on table, better make a reservation. Prices are a bit higher, but you can't make a mistake paying for quality.

We had a party of ten on a sports trip and we stopped here for drinks on a lovely evening. When we saw the food menu we decided to stay on.Food excellent and everyone was served together. It would put most major cities to shame. Waitress was very friendly even though she didn't speak English. Menu was in English so no problem. Beer and wine very cheap.

If your recollections of eating at a railway restaurant bring back memories of dry sandwiches curled under a grubby plastic cover, then you're in for a pleasant surprise!
Hidden away alongside the current station are some former railway buildings which have been converted into a charming eatery. An old railway carriage is also available as a private saloon if required.
Food is simple cooking with fresh ingredients, served with tasty Czech beer, and a smile.
It's hidden away, so you have to know it's there, but well worth searching out!

Drove in for the late lunch on Sunday, place was packed in the garden, but no problem the waiter found me the place on the large table with bunch of bikers, nice guys, ordered wiener schnitzel with potato salad , probably the best one I ever had, service was exelent and fast. The place bit in the country site, not very well marked on the roads, but it's worth every penny to look for it.

We will make another trip to Krivoklat if only to visit this place again! The staff were all friendly, the beer was good, the garden was good, the view is stunning. The garden filled with delightful smells from the barbecue - the farmers burger is HUGE and the spit roasted chicken was some of the best chicken I've ever had. We also enjoyed paddling in the stream right alongside the garden. A magical place!

Hungry after a tour of Křivoklát Castle, we popped into the Restaurace pod Hradem, conveniently located on the main road on the way to the train station, for lunch. Our waiter was welcoming and pleasant. The menu offered a vast array of choices. The goulash soup was excellent. My son was very happy with his large helping of spinach spaetzle (gnocchi) and his apple strudel. My carpaccio with basil pesto was the best I've ever had — and I'm somewhat of a carpaccio connoisseur. Plus, we both got excellent fresh local croissant-like salty rolls.
I never expected to get this sort of gourmet meal in a tiny town in Bohemia, so this was a delightful surprise. The bill for our meal was almost embarassingly modest.
