Located at the seaside with a beautiful view on the beach, sea and Oresundbroen. Simple interior, but very good kitchen. Amazing saffran fish soup with a lot of quality, fresh, seafood. Housemade smoked salmon, tasty shrimps and 1000 island sauce are the highlands of the Stjerneskud classic in a luxury version. Outstanding creme brulee and orange sorbet. A butcher shop turned restaurant. You look at the meat in the montre and the order by the pund. The the meat gets prepared and served. Somewhat unik concept, but unfortunally the meat didnt taste great and the fish was more than dead. Nothing I would like to taste again

What a great experience visiting this restaurant was! The food was outstanding and this service was excellent. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor eating and the location at the water makes it particularly nice. I would strongly recommend this place to anybody visiting the area.

Visited this place for a private party. They served lovely food all the way through. And they served some really nice wine all the way along. The story is that they have the best wine collection of any restaurant in Koge. They confirmed the story!!! Would like to go back another time.

This was my 5th visit in the last few years, and was probably one of my best
The outdoor Seating area is very good on a warm summer night. The blankets are a nice touch
The food quality is excellent with a real Italian flare . I had a cold starter of prawns and salmon which was very fresh and nicely presented. The steak for main course was fantastic. In my top 5 ever!
The desserts are worthy of their own section as they are so good. The Italian icecream is fantastic and the variety of sorbet flavours and their quality is outstanding
Worth a visit to Køge just for this place!

Fantastic place, nice, authentic and cosy. They have hundreds of different beers from all over the world and a very popular place. A nice start before heading to discos or a good place to have a drink after a tasty dinner with spouse, colleagues or friends. Some time there is music in the yard as well. Have been here many many times and look forward to go back.

We were expecting a gastropub; instead we feasted on superb local venison and baby vegetables straight from the garden next door, in chic surroundings with a sophisticated chef. Every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, from a tiny bowl of frothy fish soup to fraises du bois with woodruff sorbet and little strawberry meringues. All in all, a memorable experience. The enthusiastic sommelier found perfect wine pairings and even allowed us to split glasses so the driver could indulge without fear.

Small French cellar-restaurant with high Bistro level. Several small dishes or a nice steak fries. The menu card is changed several times during the week.<br>During the summer season we have a nice courtyard with shelter and heating if necessary.
We've been to Køge before, and have always made a beeline from the train to the old center of town. Today as we were headed that way, we saw the torches and menu in front of the basement entrance to the Bistro, just across the street from the train. We thought "This is too close to be any good!", but gave it a try. Not only was the French cuisine delicious (and surprisingly affordable by Danish standards), but this has to be one of the most "hyggeligt" (cosy) little restaurants I've ever enjoyed in Denmark! I think we just uncovered a gem!
