During the Civil War, Knoxville's Mabry-Hazen House served as headquarters for both the Confederate and Union armies. Today you can visit the house and other historic homes in this eastern Tennessee city. Among Knoxville's other attractions are museums, a zoo and World's Fair Park, site of the 1982 World's Fair. University of Tennessee sports draw lots of fans, as does the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. To see Knoxville from the water, take a leisurely riverboat ride down the Tennessee River.

We are a steakhouse specializing in fresh seafood and premium aged steaks, as well as gourmet salads, pastas and more! Enjoy a memorable evening with friends and family in our well-appointed dining rooms, or stop by for the lunch you and your associates deserve. Our friendly service and flavorful fare will keep you coming back for more.
Place is more upscale and expensive than other restaurants in the area. Steaks are perfect, and their seafood is also great. I’ve visited twice in the last couple of months. I had the sirloin topped with Boursin both times. It’s so good I just couldn’t...MoreWe must admit that the sirloin with our house-made boursin cheese and crispy tobacco onions is quite the savvy combination. Many experts claim the sirloin is the most flavorful cut of all beef. Until next time, cheers!

Found this on trip advisor, looking for something we hadn't tried. It was far above expectations and a very simply delicious meal.
6 items are gluten free on today's board, many of them are veggies too.
They're only open 11 AM til 2 PM Monday through Friday, but they offer bulk items to go too!
We had grilled chicken and steak, grilled asparagus, sauteed zucchini and peppers, red skin mashed potatoes and baby spinach salad.
Hubby loved every bite and went back for a brownie and more salad to go...plus a pan of the chicken and more veggies! That's saying a LOT!

Friendly and bustling cafe style: order at counter and your number will be called out. We tried samplers, and both found the falafel to be excellent and the salad underneath, very good. The accompanying baba ghanoush and hummus both had excellent flavor BUT were both covered with excessive oil into which they turned quickly into soupy puddles. Disappointing & I shared that thought with server who seemed genuinely concerned and insisted she’d share this concern with the boss. I hope so. Everything about this friendly place and its staff deserves support.

Chef & Owner Tim Love has designed a menu influenced by all of the ingredients and cultures of the West-with an added level of modern sophistication. Items on the Lonesome Dove Bistro menu range from an inventive selection of steaks and seafood to dishes such as Wagyu Tomahawk, Kangaroo Carpaccio, Rocky Mountain Elk Ribeye, Wild Boar, and Rabbit & Rattlesnake!
Our first visit to this establishment and absolutely will not be our last. Our waiter Justin was wonderful and knowledgeable. His description of the menu was on point every time. Lonesome Dove makes it easy to “split” various appetizers (which we did) and is a great way to sample the menu. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but we felt it was worth it. The ambiance is gorgeous with such history still visible. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

We offer a relaxing and upbeat atmosphere for you to experience our version of "locally grown" gourmet, craft burgers. For the whiskey connoisseur, we have chosen a wide range of bourbon options to choose from. We offer them neat, on the rocks, or mixed with fresh ingredients to create our interpretation of traditional cocktails. For the beer drinker, we offer a wide selection of draft, craft beers to choose from along with multiple domestic beer options
A small group of us was looking for a good place to eat and thought to give Stock and Barrel a try. We were delighted with the service, the food, and the value. At our table, we sampled four different burgers, each outstanding. For the member of our party interested in bourbon, we found that the bartender was extremely knowledgeable and the choices extensive.

Dinner with friend became a sort of culinary "coming home" experience. Chatting with the manager, reminiscing about shared friends from the now closed Falafel Hut . Dinner was– terrific! Then plates of old favorites (falafel with hummus, kafta burger stuffed grape leaves (best with lamb & rice);
I teased him about “New York Style” & he responded by putting a plate of samples (corned beef, pastrami, tongue) & he was right! Excellent stuff reminiscent of beloved NYC deli’s. Not fancy but very comfortable and QUIET enough to have real conversation (my biggest problem with local restaurants in recent years! I shouldn’t have to go to club LeConte just to chat with my companions.) Some significant overeating. We we all agreed silently to come back as soon as possible.

This was our first visit to Five and certainly won't be our last. The food was excellent with great service. My husband and I both started with a Baked Avocado appetizer which was different and delicious. We also both ordered the Sunday special, Fried Chicken which was the best we have ever had. Loved the atmosphere and all the different chandeliers they have used in decorating.

Since 2008, we have been proudly serving authentic French-style crepes! We import all of our flour by the ton from France to replicate flavor & authenticity! Over 500,000 crepes served, both savory and sweet. Now serving beer and fine wines! Two area locations...Downtown Knoxville on Clinch Ave at Market Street, and in Farragut in the Kroger/Petco center at Campbell Station Rd and Kingston Pike.
Must have hit them on a bad day. Walked in at 10 AM. I ordered a breakfast special and it was served at room temp. My wife ordered a breakfast Crepe and it was over cooked and the ingredients tasted old. we've eaten at Brennen's The Palace, Surrey's Katies, Joey K's, and several other New Orleans restaurants. This is not what we expected and their prices are waaaay out of line....
