Another delicious meal from this great great restaurant. Brought family there who were here from England. They could not get over the kindness and generosity of this great place from the complimentary dishes to the attention we received to see was everything to our liking. All the different spices was just what the doctor ordered. We most definitely will be back sooner rather than later.A must go to place for great food value and ambiance. Thanks Adi and James.

Located in West Wicklow, at the end of the famous Wicklow Gap. Enjoy the majestic scenery & visit the production sites of “Braveheart”, “Michael Collins” & “Excalibur”. Established in 1790, this family-run, traditional Irish pub & restaurant, provides an all-day food service using local produce, fresh fish & delicious homemade cuisine. The Hollywood Inn is renowned for exceptional food & warm hospitality.
In spite of already having a party of 22 booked they accomodated us in the bar ( which often has food served there),There was a very varied choice on the menu including Turkey. The starters included the incredible " Hollywood Inn smokies " (Smoked Haddock) a great favourite of mine,.Spiced chicken wings ( one portion would easily do 2 people ) with a choice of how "hot" you wanted them and soup. The mains included their own "Hollywood Inn Burger", well known favourite, Fish and Chips ( to die for ) and Vegetarian tartlets with salad. Steaks cooked to taste and seasonal fair. Desserts included cheese cake, brownies, & Ice cream . As it was a special celebration we had our own cake which they kindly cut and served for us.The staff were very efficient , attentive & friendly without being intrusive.Their wine list was superb and their House Wines increadable. As usual there was no pressure on us to "eat up and leave" as there is in some places. We have eaten there several times and have always come away satisfied. I would recommend The Hollywood Inn to anyone interested in good food at a reasonable price.

I grew up around Ballymore Eustace and this restaurant has been at the epicenter of many a family celebration over the years.
My family and I positively adore the food, which no matter how meticulously you follow the recipes inside this restaurants cook book are impossible to match. There is an essence within the atmosphere of this restaurant which is incomparable to any other!
Recently the menu has been condensed and some of my favorites including the chicken stir fry and Greek lamb and yogurt pizza have been removed from the menu, but there is still plenty to chose from, each option more flavorsome and homely than the next.
The food is infallible, from the freshly baked bread and pine nut pesto served before the food to the last lick of deliciously rich chocolate pot and honey comb from the spoon.
The Ballymore Inn provides an extensive vegan and vegetarian menu, which is a very cosmopolitan choice for a restaurant in a rural area. The creation of these two further menus may explain the removal of some options from the omnivore menu and although I am myself a meat eater, I have ordered the stuffed peppers from the vegetarian menu and have very much enjoyed them.
Overall, an excellent place to break bread with family and friends. A little on the expensive side but you really do get what you pay for with this gem.

This is absolutely a 5 Star pub and restaurant.
The lounge area is cosy & inviting with soft lighting and lots of candles and a gorgeous open fire. The restaurant serves the most mouth watering food with top class service.
I'm looking forward to returning already.

What a treasure. We were 3, my husband, brother in law and myself. We were seated promptly and so it began. Our servers smiled and fussed over us from the very start. Nothing was too much trouble. We settled on Veg Spring Rolls and Wontons for starters which were both generous and delicious. Mains were Cod with ginger, Ribeye and Prawn tagliatelle. Again superb. Now being a little greedy we decided to have desserts. Sticky toffee pudding and Banoffee. Oh my goodness melt in the mouth. A gorgeous sauvignon blanc with the meal was followed by a pint of bud, a gin and tonic and a request for a Hendricks g & t prepared in a particular fashion. Again no problem. Delighted to find this little gem. Well done all a big congratulations. Needless to say we will be back.

Delicious which allowed us to feel right at home. Big bowl of mashed potatoes.... best comfort food ever and a bowl overflowing with fresh garden vegetables. Yummy! Everyone was so friendly.... those working and those dining. Appeared to be mostly locals which always adds to the delight of a place.
Several families with small children enjoyed their meals as the kids visited with others, including us. It was a delightful.

Ate here last Friday night with a bunch of friends. We shared starters and everyone got the burgers. They were cooked just perfect as were the fries. Really relaxed atmosphere with good music on in he background. Only drawback was how loud the music got eventually. Still I’d go again and recommend

I had the haddock, very tasty! Quite a surprise, to find this little gem out in Kilcullen. The desert, something called a "crumble" was also very good. Disguised as a standard Irish pub, this definitely was bit standard pub grub, clearly a cut above.

Great food ....
I was served by David, who was friendly and efficient.
A couple of lovely ladies also popped by to check I was OK and happy !
Just the right amount of attention ... not too much .... not too little.
I was there very early in the evening, and it was fairly busy .... imagine it would get really busy later in the evening ... probs best to book !
