And we eat plenty of brisket! This brisket was smoked and tasted great. I would try other smoked items there for sure. Also enjoyed the romaine and pear salad. Lightly dressed - just right. And the coconut and cacao macaroons were delicious and not overly sweet like macaroons often are. Great beer selection. We will be back!

Fantastic restaurant far out in the middle of nowhere. This is worth the trip and if you are a mountain hiker then check out Mohonk area. The service here is great with the servers wearing traditional German Octoberfest like wear. The Food is fabulous and quite traditional. This just is a great experience, I highly suggest!

I've eaten in this restaurant dozens of times over the last 10-12 years. Their food is always goo, consistent, fresh and tasty. Service has always been pretty good. If you go for breakfast, you'll meet many if the local politicians and business people. Lunch time may bring local workers. Dinner time there is a good experience, with daily specials available. Prices are very reasonable. There is ample parking at and around the restaurant, which is adjacent to a fairly new Wal Mart.

I love going to Rough Cut, whether I'm drinking alone, or out on a date, or even when I want to bring the whole family together for a good, hearty meal that even the pickiest eaters, vegetarians and gluten-free eaters will enjoy.
The price point is exactly right and the Monday/Thursday night specials are a steal so you have no excuse not to try it for yourself.
This place has a lot to offer. Enjoy: delicious, handcrafted could-not-possibly-be-any-fresher beers; a perfectly balanced, double-sided menu and an expressive specials' board with just as much taste and competitive class; and personalized, professional service in an enchantingly simple and rustic atmosphere that will make you feel special and at home.
With a one-of-a-kind bar, a small, attentive dining room and an inviting lounge complete with hearth and library, Rough Cut Brewing Company is an essential, humanistic experience that is not to be missed.
For the love of food/all that is good in the world.... Please support the talented men and women who give Kerhonkson this special gift, eat a burger (take your pick - they are all handmade and so delicious) and try the homemade ice cream. (If you're like me, then order the chocolate ice cream in a Milk Stout Float and live life sans regret.)
But seriously, every item on the menu is freshly made and delicious!!!!

Tout 209 outside of Ellenville has a 5 star chef! Amazingly beautiful restraunt in upstate NY is equivalent to an upscale restaurant in Manhatten. Want that get away weekend in the country without sacrificing your pallet? Go to the White Wolf! Amazing steaks you should only cut with a butter knife. Perfectly cooked seared shashimi salad, Fresh baked bread, to say the least! Deserts that you couldn't even find in the city! Where else can you go to get a blueberry Sunday hand picked by the chef that morning in Lederhosen and hiking boots? Let's not forget about the huge amazing bar. Martinis that make your work week disappear, along with imported and local wine. Absolutely worth the trip!

KERHINKSON DINNER SUCKS an let me tell you why an lmk what you think.
Me my husband an 2 other friends went there today ok ALL 4 of us ordered coffee US 2 DECAFE....OUR 2 FRIENDS regular. ... waitress brought 4 cups out all the same cup with 2 creamers on the side. I said this is definitely decafe right....yup.....WELL I take heart medicine to keep my heart rate low because I had a heart attack.....ok I took about 3 or 4 sips of my coffee.....OMG my head started swimming my pulse went up I immediately didn't feel right so I instantly knew she accidentally gave me the regular coffee. So when she came over we let her know she accidentally gave me the regular I know cause I can feel it an the OWNER comes over an tells me she's gonna charge me for another cup of coffee cause she's in the business to sell not throw stuff out.....I explained to her about my heart meds an I CAN NOT take any kind of caffeine at all cause it makes me feel weird. She looked in my cup an said well thats decafe......I said again NO ITS NOT.....MY HEART IS RACING AN I DON'T FEEL RIGHT.... she said well your gonna have to pay for another cup
Needless to say all 4 of us canceled our ordered I paid the damm $5.40 for the coffee's an she told me never to come back.... WTF they made an error an she wanted to charge me.... what kind if business is this. ... what happened to the customer is always right .... Needless to say WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AN NEITHER WILL MY FRIENDS
