I have been here several times, sometimes just for "Fika" (which the swedes love--coffee break with a treat) But I have also enjoyed a nice light swedish style lunch. The food is good but the atmosphere and the view is amazing. Charming and beautiful with friendly service and local produce.
It is an old estate with lots of history and beautiful Gardens in the summer. (which is definitely the best time to visit)
Bring your bathing suits as there is a little beach just nearby and enjoy a swim in the lake and walking shoes for a stroll on the grounds. Worth a little detour if you are near Katrineholm.

My husband and I both had the beef planksteak, good but nothing special, the bernase sauce was the best part. Service was Swedish acceptable, had to ask for refills for water. Considering its just a pub the food was somewhat over priced, for 200 SEK at a bar, it would have been nice to get a a bit of salad or a piece of galic toast with the meal

" Swedish" pizza and calzone and the tart cabbage salad served with it. It doesn't get much better. This was our go to place ( for take out) when we visit friends and family in Sweden. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

En trevlig restarung på söder. God mat med en större meny för olika rätter. Möjlighet att få en öl eller ett glas vin. Det som är minus är att lokalen är en stor lokal så man kan få lite skolmatsal över besöket. Deras uteplats är dock trevligt. Att kunna sitta ute dock nära vägen men i solläge

The Best pastries and incredible daily special lunch pies. There is a large selection of the not overly sweet Swedish pastries and a pleasant atmosphere. It is a self serve cafe with both indoor and outdoor Seating in the summer. Located by the train station in katrienholm.
It is one of our first drops when we visit friends in katrineholm. The swedes are known for their princess cake so try a piece of that and I love the Napoleon pastry!

We went here after 40 km over canoeing, so we were very much looking forward to a good meal. Villa Sandhem is a small, friendly place. The owners do the cooking and serving themselves, and they are very nice people, very hospitable. They have a great selection of beer and a menu that has something for everyone. We took salmon and steak. The quality of both dishes was good, especially for a small town like Katrineholm. Their ice cream dessert was excellent, I would recommend that to anyone. Overall a very enjoyable experience this restaurant.

Stora Djulö Manor with history from the 14th century, just 3 km outside from Katrineholm. A large outdoor café with an icecream café, lunch, dinner, sandwiches and pastries. Enjoy a cup of coffea or a glass of wine just by the water. Welcome!

In the summer by nice weather its fantastic to sit outside by the late and eat their salmon.
The restaurant you will in a old nice building.
Next to the building there is house of glass where they sell ice creame to be very, very good.
Very close to this building you will find a camping and a place to swim.
