We were a very large group on a Friday night when the place was full. The food was very good especially the various steaks (beef or pork) ordered at the table. The service was good considering we were 29 people (including kids). Overall very good experience!

We prebooked a table for 9 for Christmas Day evening. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious with a great choice. The restaurant itself is very cozy and traditional looking. Would definitely recommend.

A very atmospheric restaurant, with a wide range of traditional Austrian dishes and more international dishes such as ribs and steak. The food was delicious, and very filling. Initially a number of locals were having lunch and it was a very welcoming atmosphere.

We took refuge after much aclaimed Paletti next door had a day off. The place is rather small, seems like an appendix to the bar sharing name and facility. We were pleasantly surprised to find very communicative (in English and German) staff. Pizza was very good except the dough was a bit lame. A bit of salt and olive oil would do miracles. Little bit overpriced wine selection.

Just got back from a fantastic boarding trip to Kaprun. Went to Baumbar on numerous occasions and we weren’t disappointed on any visit.
Food is amazing, service very friendly and efficient and prices overall good value for money.
When in Kaprun, go to Baumbar, enough said.

We hadn't been to the Auhof for a while and were pleased to see that it offered a different menu now. Perhaps new owners/chef?
The old menu was fantastic but not so suited for lunchtime (for our liking). The new menu offers a great variety of traditional dishes. We had the fried chicken with potato salad and the Caesar salad with chicken. Both were delicious. Excellent service too.
The location was also perfect too for a spot in the sun.
It was obviously a firm favourite with the locals too - always a good sign

We went based on glowing reviews in TripAdvisor. Food arrived literally in minutes after ordering 3 pizzas and a salad. Salad with chicken strips was very good, pizzas just very average. It was Italian style thin and crispy but just uninspiring. Decent and ok priced wines. Good service. Next door Kitsch & Bitter did a bit better.

We had dinner in a group of 9. The restaurant is relatively small and nicely decorated. A bit dark in the evening (we had to use our phone flashes to read the menu), but very intimate. The menu is extensive, so is the wine list. We were all 9 extremely happy with our choices. Staff were extremely friendly and present and prices decent.

Alpengasthaus Glocknerblick is situated at the top of Maikogel mountain near Kaprun, Austria. In winter it is ski-in, ski-out and in summer can be reached via a twenty minute hike from the shuttle bus station . The Glocknerblick boasts a large beer garden and beautiful panoramic views of the Austria Alps and the nearby Valleys. The food is traditional Austrian cuisine, big portions of hearty food at very reasonable prices. The Glocknerblick has a full bar and friendly staff so a warm welcome is guaranteed. When in Kaprun or Zell am See, The Glocknerblick is a must-do experience.

We lunched here after visiting Maiskogel Alm, where the restaurant was completely understaffed and we heard diners complaining about their wait before we had ordered. The staff at Glocknerblick were all extremely friendly, took our order promptly and were super efficient. Drinks and food arrived swiftly & especially recommend the Strudel. Will visit again
