A vegetarian restaurant across Hotel Samudra. Take food here if you want to fall sick. The food preparations are tasteless.
Average food. Access to clean restroom is a plus considering there aren't much options in the vicinity. Food tastes average. Prices are atleast double than the average restaurants in Kanyakumari. Food not worth the price, although tastes OK. Go for clean restroom and ambience.

The Ocean is a multi-cuisine restaurant serving delectable food amidst a fantastic ambiance. You can either choose to sip South Indian degree kaapi watching the sun rise over the Bay of Bengal, or spend a quiet evening in the company of friends and family enjoying the view from our rooftop restaurant. We use the finest and the freshest ingredients - be it the seafood that's sourced from the local market or the spice blends that are prepared daily.
The restaurant and hotel rooms have very beautiful sea view that goes well when you have Yum food along.
You order anything and you won't get disappointed. We were staying in some other hotel but ate all our meals here till we stayed in Kanyakumari. The seafood comes with the fresh catch and the restaurant serves both authentic south Indian and continental food.
We tried Prawns (both Crum and Masala fry), biryanis, fish sizzlers, Malabar and Thai curry and all was awesome.

The Restaurant Serves,Traditional South Indian Food,North,Chinese as well as Continental. You can have Moktails, Cocktails and Chilled Beer.We serve both veg and Non-veg.Smoking is not allowed in the restaurant.
This is one of the few upmarket restaurants in town, so our expectations were quite high.
The dining room is set with nice clean tablecloths, brightly lit and staffed by well mannered uniformed waiters.
The menu is comprehensive. We chose Indian vegetarian food, vegetable chettinad and mutter paneer, accompanied by chappatis, and papads to nibble while waiting. The wait for our food was endless, for no apparent reason. We were about to leave, after about an hour, when our food finally arrived. It was ok but nothing special, presentation non existent, certainly not worth the long wait. We then had chocolate and butterscotch ice creams, nice but served in miserly portions.
Prices were quite modest, our bill was INR680 including two different taxes. This is the place to go if you want to sit in air conditioned comfort, but don't expect too much.

Its located in the Heart of the city for Lunch, After-hours, Dinner, Breakfast, Delivery, Reservations, Seating, Waitstaff, Air Condition. You will definitely enjoy our dishes in a minimal price.
-It was in a walking distance from our hotel.
-Inner arrangement was good. Foods were tasty but we didn't try any fish dish as we were confused with the local name of that fishes.
-They took a pretty long time to serve but service was average.

To get out of the boredom of south indian dishes for last 4-5 days tried in this restaurent for bengali dish.one of the worst experience. The food served are too pricey to say the least, quality of food is also unbearable.Service boys are however very polite and well behaved. This restairant is actually making a mockerry of bengali dishes and should be avoided.

Happen to catchup with my old friend and we decide to explore Casanova. We got a lovely welcome and given a seat. Staffs are really nice and courteous. Ordered few items in the menu and promptly I get an alert of what am ordering.. .Schezwan biryani was little spicy and good.. the veg mix balls came with fire and the baby corn pepper needed some salt.
The portions are huge. Think b4 u order...Ask... they are kind to help.
