They offer the best ambience, be it a full meal or just snacks, and they serve really good food too. Service is one of the best in this locality. Staff is friendly and courteous. Plus points to Lea. They have free wifi but it can be slow at times if they are full. Love their ribs and salmon. Not a month pass by without our visiting this lovely place. Its a good place for small group meetings too.

Went with my parents and husband for lunch. We had Pork Sisig, Grilled Snapper, liempo and chilli shrimps. We also had leche flan for desert. Food was great, especially the liempo it was worth all the rave.
Service was great and timely. Setting was relaxing and quiet, just the way I like it.
Waiters were a little shy around us becos we are english speaking but we overcame the initial language barrier.
Only drawback for me was the flies, the restuarant is open air and no airconditioning so flies cannot be avoided, although a waiter came and stood by our table blowing away the flies. It did get distracting.
Overall was a good lunch for the family. I will definately be coming back for the liempo. The service was also excellent.

Jollibee is the biggest fast food joint in the Philippines - its presence alone is an indicator of a place progress. There are already two in Kalibo - one at Gaisano Mall and the other is adjacent to Sto. Niño Shrine and Pastrana Park. Nothing fancy, just the usual fast food (burger, chicken, pasta) which were made to please the Filipinos' palate.

The place is clean and the attendants are polite. You may choose from pre-cooked dishes or you may order fresh fish and other seafood for cooking. It is right across the bus (Ceres) terminal in Kalibo. Parking space is also available.

YES, the BEST liempo I've had - period. I had googled "Best restaurants nearby" in Kalibo and Ramboy's was one of the suggestions. Read the reviews and consistently the liempo was mentioned as the Best. I'm adding My recommendations as well! You have got to try it, not sure if there's a Ramboy's elsewhere in the Philippines, there's 3 locations here in Kalibo Aklan.

Gecko's is a relatively new offering in Kalibo, as you head toward McDo make a left at the Petron station and Gecko's is tucked away about a block back Mabini on the left. Our host was the American owner and the chef was her talented nephew who trained in Manila. The offerings are mostly Filipino cuisine, we enjoyed the beef nachos, as an appetizer. They were very good, prepared in the local way. We shared a pork sisig and baby back ribs. The ribs were spectacular, meaty and full of flavor. And quite a good price at 150 pesos! The sisig was our first attempt at this local favorite and we found it to be very good, crispy, flavorful pork.
One of the best features was the Dr. Pepper! This American soda is hard to find outside of Manila, but the owner has it shipped in... and on this particular visit she even had Dr. Pepper Cherry on hand!
We hear the evening scene is when Gecko's really comes to live, but we found it to be a comfortable, delicious place to shop for a local lunch and great conversation!

Primavera prides itself in serving authentic Italian pasta dishes. They claim that their pasta and cheeses are imported from Italy. Our pasta dinner was nice but service needs to be more attentive. We ordered beer but we were told they're out of it. We had to TELL him to get San Miguel Pale Pilsen Beer from a store near them if they wanted us to stay for dinner. We expected more from their staff considering they are a very expensive restaurant. That could explain why there weren't that many customers, even though their servings really tasted nice.

I've eaten there a number of times now and I really like the chicken sissig. Also the back room is generally air conditioned or at least is cooler with fans. Service is a bit more inconsistent though at times where the server is very attentive at one end to hardly at all at the other end.

BSCT is the place to swing-by for those looking for freshly brewed coffee, chill milk tea and a great spot to hang out in.
