This restaurant has air-conditioned area and non-air conditioned area. Therefore, you can choose your preference. Regarding the food, it is above average (my opinion) Famous food are: salted egg squid, fried rice with fish roe, bitter gourd with salted egg, etc. Easily found parking.

Will satay ever make the ranks of fine food? Well at least in Malaysia, this eatery makes a stab at it - without even trying! One could argue that satay cannot be enjoyed in a sterile environment, so you have it - the smoke, the open air Seating.
Compared to paltry portions elsewhere, the well marinated, flame seared sticks were delicious as well as the peanut sauce.
We arrived at 2pm on a weekday, having endured the traffic leaving downtown KL - so there was no queue. The food court was quite near the main highway, so it can be a meal stop.
Sedap, delicious...you have been warned ;-)

The satay offered was a solid, flavorful chunk of meat on a stick. Simply sumptuous skewered meat grilled to perfection. We chose all the three types of meat - chicken, beef and mutton and also 4 ketupats. Loved the bowl of peanut sauce provided for us to dip the satay.

Fridays are good for vegetarian buffet, I think for about RM10 you can get a wide variety of food which includes chapati, puri, fried bittergourd (my fav), an assortment of sauteed veggies, sambars, pickled veggies, dessert and a drink. But I like to get their mutton fried rice, pineapple fried rice, paal appam, kottu parotha (kinda like char kuey teow), rava thosai, roti canai indian style (extra crispy)...and sometimes you can get tairu vade, a kind of vade with yogurt topped with cilantro, julienned carrots and a few pieces of chilli. Sometimes service can be a bit slow, they can get crowded in there but the food is definitely worth the wait.

We had three varieties of satay - beef, rabbit and chicken. All three varieties were chunky, tender and juicy. The satay sauce had just the right flavour. Diners have the option of enjoying their meal in an air-conditioned area. You'll need to get yourself a table, walk to the counter to place your order informing on your table number, and make payment. It was a decent wait for the food to be served. A worthwhile treat if you are in Kajang, a town well known for its satay.

Last Saturday(12/08/2017),we celebrate our father 80th
birthday at this restaurant.
This is the high end Chinese dining restaurant in town.
The cuisines served that night was good, except the
Braised Sea Cucumber with Pork Knuckle.
The room temperature also too low (a bit cold).
Good place to have lunch/dinner with family and friends.
Overall,yummy food,clean,spacious and reasonable price.
Highly Recommended!

Off the bustling road in the town of Kajang lies this corner restaurant namely Malaysia Restaurant. Famed for their fragrant savoury satay; traditional malay barbeque meat skewers; this restaurant fills up with customer even before the fire is even lit. You would find customers grabbing seats from 10.30am onwards while the cooks starts firing up th charcoal for the day-long grilling. An assortment of meat is presented here for your preference, suggest to go for their beef and chicken satays. Order by the 10s as it is never enough, combining with their homemade peanut sauce, it's a diet-buster! Also, enjoy glasses of sugar cane juice made fresh to order. Don't mind the service here, it's a small town filled with real people. It's the food that matters.

we went there for dinner. Ordered: nasi putih, nasi minyak, fried fish covered in peanut sauce, kangkung belacan, sotong goreng. Overall: 3/5. The nasi minyak, sotong goreng was yummy. The fish..i wouldnt order it again as I felt it was just fried fish with some sauce poured over it. We had actually asked for ikan bakar..perhaps the waiter didnt understand us. Price: mid range. There are loads of diff sambals given that u can try. That I really enjoyed.

Just back from satay feast at this place. We took the MRT from Muzium Negara Station which took 40 minutes to reach Stadium Kajang Station.
Just a very short walk from Stadium Kajang Station to Medan Satay Kajang where this stall is located.
When we ordered, the staff told us it will take up to an hour to get our satays. We told him it's ok. Serve the rice cakes and satay sauce first as everyone is hungry.
The satay came after a 40 minutes wait and it is a really worthy wait. Delicious huge chunks of well marinated chicken, mutton and beef skewers. Dipped in very tasty satay peanut sauce with the chilli paste, each skewers were devoured clean.
Best time to go on weekends is when they open at 11.00 am as lunch and dinner time are packed with customers who came in droves by riding the newly completed MRT.

If you are looking for some Arabian meal in Bangi, this is as good as another. The portion for the Hanith Lamb was small. At RM19, the “Hanith Lamb Small” was pricey BUT then everything else is going up today except the planes that is. Basically, the Shish Taouk and Hummus that I tasted were what I thought I tasted in other Arabian restaurants – Kuala Lumpur and Johor. Though this one seemed to attract more customers compared to another Arabian restaurant across it. If I learned anything from my trip to a restaurant in KLIA2 (see my review on Bumbu Desa), I should try the one across. Perhaps next time...
