We are known for our more than adequate portions at a very reasonable price. Our more popular menu choices include pancakes as big a dinner plate and Omelets made with 6 eggs. Along with a variety of New England made products we have maple syrup, 12 varieties of fudge, and whoopie pies in our Gift Shop.
We just visited this wonderful restaurant and gift shop on our way home from Gorham. What a cute place, the food was delicious and the portions were huge! I had a pancake, true buttermilk the size of the plate, cornbreads, potatoes, eggs, sausage the links are large and yummy and the list could go on with what are group ordered... the service was amazing! Shout out to Tricia who has owned and operated for the past 18 years! She walks around serving and greeting in this adorable log cabin restaurant. Oh and did I mention the homemade cinnamon rolls, Whoopi’s pies and pumpkin Whoopi’s pies that you can purchase and take with you... or eat there of course.... the gift shop which they sell homemade fudge at is a must as well and you can look around while you are waiting to sit. This is also super close to Santa’s village so if you have young ones be sure to stop for breakfast here as it will fill you for sure!!! And the prices are super fair! Be sure to visit this great treasure!!! Thanks Tricia and all the pleasant staff!!! We will be certain to visit again!!!!

We offer everything from a full course dinner to a burger and fries ... everything is homemade, even our desserts!! We have a full bar, a great selection of draft & bottled beers and entertainment some nights. During the summer we serve until after midnight! days and hours vary by season Closed march and april
We made a reservation here to have dinner before attending the Weathervane Theater next door. Great menu with many choices. To our surprise, the waitress served our drinks along with our "will-call" tickets to the theater! They had our name and knew we were going to theater and so picked up our tickets for us. I was impressed!
Service was excellent, food was delicious .... highly recommend if you are a theater goer like us and want dinner beforehand.

My husband ordered a 4 topping calzone and said it's the best he'd ever had. I had the veggie wrap and it was great. The portions were so large we ended up taking half of each home for lunch the next day. Prices are average for the area and the wait staff were very good.

We were in town for 4-5 days and spent a lot of time at this Dunkin'. Not once did they get our order wrong. That was awesome. We were also greeted with smiling faces each time. The drive-thru or walk-in were both equally as friendly and everyone seemed to really hustle here. The last day, they were out of caramel swirl for my latte, but I tried the french vanilla instead and it was still yummy. This was a good clean bathroom stop as well. I like that I could empty and fill with confidence here. They also had run out of sesame bagels on our last day, but they had an everything bagel that did the trick. I think we may have a new favorite Dunkin' when we are in this area!

I skip any other Dunkin Donuts in this area and go to the Whitefield one. They get it RIGHT....every time. The coffee is always fresh...no burn taste , like bottom of the pot, that I've experienced too often at the other locations. The staff , after three or four visits, remembers you and your usual requests. They're also always smiling and friendly. I actually called corporate after a visit to this location, to compliment the staff. I like certain modifications to my usual order and they accommodate me perfectly. There is no drive through here, and backing out , when you return to your car, is sometimes awkward, but that just tells you how superior this location is, that you'll get out of your car in a blizzard, just to go in and get your "fix".

Lauded as one of the resort's most popular restaurants, the AAA Four Diamond Bretton Arms Dining Room serves breakfast and dinner seasonally. The dinner menu at the Arms uses the freshest and finest locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our creatively prepared traditional cuisine is complemented by cutting-edge techniques, allowing the quality of the ingredients to come out. Choose from the award-winning wine list, including more than 40 selections available by the glass. If your group is a bit larger, two newly-renovated private dining rooms are available, with seating for up to 10 guests. The dress code for the Arms is resort casual. The young guests' menu is not your typical mac and cheese or PB&J, but a reflection of the adult menu and experience.
We had breakfast this morning at the Bretton Arms Inn, part of the Mount Washington Hotel, dare I say the food was superior to any of the restaurants in the Mount Washington Resort! Moreover the ambience, and decor exceeded expectations. Kayla our server was accommodating and thoughtful. Kudos for this gem.

Located at mile marker 147.4 On Route 3 in Twin Mountain, NH.
We happened upon this restaurant last year while visiting the Mt Washington area. It was a non-descript diner that had lots of cars in the parking lot which intrigued us. (You can read my previous excellent review on Trip Advisor.)
This year we specifically planned on breakfast there, and it was a godsend after our hugely disappointing dinner experience at Mt Washington Resort and Dining Room the night before.
As before, you hardly notice it from the road except for the congested traffic in their parking lot. Inside, it was humming with a continuing flow of both locals and tourists. The revolving ladies at the counter all knew each other, there were local regulars of all kinds, and a large middle-Eastern family was accommodated within a blink of an eye. Everyone blended transparently.
The family and staff who run Munroe’s have been there forever and it’s a marvelously smooth operation. Service was impeccable.
As I said before, the menu has some unique offerings (the cheese grits were the best; the Redneck Benny the most unique), but you can order any other combination you want to concoct. Both of our breakfast meals that we chose were superb, so feel free to select anything and enjoy.
And, prices are amazingly modest for the quality and quantity of the food they serve. Don’t drive pass it!

this is a gas station with a corner store. the corner store has a deli in it with a WIDE variety of foods.
OK, so we were coming back from Santa's Village, heading to our KOA campground in Carroll. This crossroads store was just the convenient place we needed to stop at to pick up sandwiches, ice cream, extra marshmallows, sodas, etc. BUT THE COOLEST think they had there was the ice. We bought a bag of ice, but when we went to get it from the outside ice chests, we saw that they also stock solid blocks of ice--you know, the old school type that you chisel off bits of...My nephew thought that was so great. Now, I'm not sure why they offer both kinds (bags and blocks of ice), but you got to give them props for that. Nice friendly counter help, too.

Of the 17 people in this little place, 15 were locals. Very good coffee and outstanding baked goods (locally made). I wouldn’t necessarily detour for this place but I would definitely stop here if you’re in the area.
