We stayed one night in Isparta and instead of eating at our hotel, we wanted to taste the local dishes. So after Reading reviews at Tripadvisor and those of food bloggers, we decided to give a try to Ferah Kebap Salonu as they all mentioned this place as the best in the city.
It's very centrally located, inside the Eski Üzüm Bazaar. Don't expect anything fancy, it's a typical "esnaf" restaurant as it's called in Turkish, meaning a place where shop owners around come and have quick lunch. In fact, the restaurant is open only until 8 pm. That's why we had a very early dinner at 6:30 pm in order to adjust to the restaurant's timing.
This place is managed by the same family for 4 generations now (you can see the photos of each generation on the wall). The owner is still at the restaurant and manages it hands-on. The service is very swift and friendly. They made a mistake while taking our orders but they compansated for it by bringing the right order without charging it, it was very nice of them.
We ordered Isparta kebab, shish meat balls and "kadayif" with cream as dessert. We liked it all, but all main dishes are made with meat, so, it's not exactly a right place for vegetarians. The overall dining experience lasted only 45 minutes, so it's really a place for a quick lunch. For 4 people, we paid 93.- TL excluding tips.

The Pasaport Restaurant is located in the main street of Isparta close to the Mimar Sinan Mosque. The Pizzas are really delicious especially the vegetarian Pizza. The Pizza section is one part of the restaurant and in the other section you can enjoy really good coffee and a variety of drinks and lovely cakes. Would recommend this for any visitor to Isparta.

If you like typical anatolian style meat , go there. Their special meat is named as " tandir" . It is lamp meat and somewhat too fatty for me. But they have many choices and you can absolutely find something to feast...The staff is perfect and the prices are in the normal range...

If you just blink the fact that the restaurant does not look fancy as it mainly serves to locals, you can taste crispy, delicious pide and a kadayıf with genuine natural butterfat on top as a dessert.

Fiyatlar uygun.Ramazanda çok sıra olur.Ispartada sulu yemek yenebilecek temiz ve güzel tek yer denebilir.
