We love eating here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I especially enjoy the salad bar and soup, always tasty choices available there. Breakfasts are huge and filling! We have enjoyed everything we have ordered on multiple visits. The take-out chicken is also great. Servers are friendly and helpful, and the whole place is clean and appealing. Highly recommend.

To call this restaurant a "diner" is an understatement. It is an EXTRAORDINARY diner, the best we have ever been in. The atmosphere, the people and the food are fantastic.
The restaurant has a great story from how the owner bought the diner/trailer, which was broken down in a field in Pennsylvania, hauling it back to Delta, WI, to restoring it with a 50s flavor. The business is family owned, and to raise funds for the restoration, regular customers were given the opportunity to become investors. Rather than tip the wait staff, items on the menu are priced to include tips, and the prices are reasonable.
We went with our friends to breakfast, who are regulars and investors. The menu is varied and unique. I had a blueberry french toast with marcipone cheese. It was AMAZING. My husband's breakfast was great too. The portions size were large.
The dinner gets so busy, there can be a long wait. Get their early. If you have to wait, go to the owners ice cream (homemade) cottage next door . Perhaps buy a tee shirt! Definitely, go to Delta Diner. You won't be disappointed. We can't wait to visit our friends again and plan to go to Delta Diner.

We visit the Rustic Roost regularly for Breakfast meetings. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is good standard American Cafe fair. We enjoy the comfortable atmosphere and warm greeting of the folks at the Rustic.

We are a family owned restaurant and continuing the tradition of serving our thin crust pizza and family pasta dishes since 1947. You may not have been born in Italy, but you know true Italian taste doesn't come out of a jar. For real authentic flavor, you have come to the right place. We also have Italian sausage, meatball and beef sandwiches, great 1/2 lb burgers all served on Linda's French and Ciabatta rolls. There's not much that hasn't been made right in our kitchen, using Joe's Nonni's recipes or new one's inspired by the old traditions. And speaking of traditions, we have a new one on Friday night, since arriving in Wisconsin--yes, Friday fish fry. Most say it's the best around and I may just have to agree! Stop by when you're in the area and give your taste buds a treat!
My brother was in town and took my Mom and me out for dinner at her favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality this day was mixed. My brother ordered a ravioli trio which he enjoyed, along with a huge side salad and great dinner rolls.
My Mom had a dinner salad with "grilled" chicken breast. The salad was fresh and she enjoyed that, along with the nice dinner roll. The pieces of dried chicken were a real disappointment. I tasted a piece. I'm guessing the chicken was par boiled then set aside and pan fried to warm it up. It was dry, chewy, and tasted like it had been reheated and refrigerated a number of times. It really was the worst food I have tasted at Round Up North.
I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich on recommendation from my sister who had had one recently. The roll was very good, the peppers and mushrooms were flavorful, and the cheese was perfectly melted. Unfortunately, the shaved beef was very dry. I added some mayo, but that didn't help much. The flavor was okay, but the beef was overcooked and likely reheated.

This is a bright and cheery place, with lots of specials, a wide variety of menu options and great prices. The fish was excellent and so was the broasted chicken. Lots of people coming and going. The ribs looked amazing! Wish I had ordered it. Good soups, a small salad bar, but enough variety to make it interesting. Lots of pies and other desserts to choose from at really good prices. The staff is efficient and very friendly. Highly recommended!

This little bakery has a lot of home made baked goods but they often sell out before lunch time. My favorite is the apple fritter. This is located about halfway between Ashland and Superior Wisconsin on U.S. highway 2. The prices are very reasonable but she doesn't take credit cards.

I did not stop here to eat, so I can not say how good it was - but it is an A&W, it has to be terrific! I was taking a walk through this little town however and was taken back to my childhood with his place.
If you remember what the drive up was like at A&W of yester - year, then you are both dating yourself and know what I am talking about!
It was nice to see and I wish I was in a car, because I would have stopped in for a float! May be worth checking out just to reminisce about a time gone by with your family. Unfortunately it did not look like the hostess was wearing roller skates, but still neat to see.

Had a decent meal but it was not worth the extraordinarily high price we paid. Wait-staff was attentive, but owners/management were having some sort of disagreement w/in ear shot. Not cool. We were disappointed after all the hype we'd heard. The shrimp everyone told me was "fabulous" was NOT. Overcooked, to salty. I know better than to order seafood so far from the ocean. Shame on me for not adhering to my instincts on that. Hubby got a steak that was fine, but again ... we didn't feel like the quality of the food/service matched the price on the bill.
