Got to get off the I-10 highway and away from the big establishments & fast food places. (Kinder exit/Iowa turn south a quarter mile). IMO you'll enjoy finding this old time country place.
Hugely popular with locals, breakfast-ok, lunch or dinner terrific. Mostly people are calling ahead for takeout of BBQ and country fried chicken, catfish, steak, etc.
tThere is decent, clean, little dining room available.
Real friendly caring folks, real low pricing, good country cooking. Extra parking behind the place.
Enjoy!

Stopped by for lunch and ordered cheeseburgers (it's across the street from a chain hamburger place) but turn left for Bouchard's instead of the other place. When you go in, you order at the counter then they bring your food to the table. The burgers were completely homemade and I felt like a kid again. We thankfully ordered one order of fries because there were so many the two of us couldn't finish the single serving. Its plain inside but the food is excellent, and it had many locals eating there so that tells you a lot. I would recommend trying Bouchard's rather than the franchises along the interstate, it's worth it.

This was a small deli with four tables in it. We ordered boudin balls, boudin links, cracklins, and iced tea. The cost was very reasonable and the foor was quite good.

We were traveling home to New Iberi from TX and stopped for a quick meal. We were very impressed with the updated adult feel of this McDonald's. Very quick service at 12:03 on a Saturday, May 7, 2016. Order number 80. Store number 23291.

New place just of the interstate. Stopped in for a quick meal. BBQ was truly unique (in a great way), and really good. Service was excellent. Waitress was pleasant and informative. Food was hot and really spot on. I also, really enjoyed their homemade beans. When we are back in the area, this will be a stop. Thank’s... see ya again!

My wife had the Honey Mustard Chicken Tenders and enjoyed them.
I had the Big Ham 'N Cheese Combo and I must admit it was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. I've not had the opportunity to go to a Hardees in some time so this was a pleasent surprise. The staff worked efficiently and were friendly.

The food was good and hot. The service was very quick. The sonic drive in location is conveniently located right off the freeway.

I always say you can always judge a place by how clean the bathrooms are. They were clean. The workers were pleasant.

$57 after taxes. All lime rock. Mud. Hardly any grass. Has a long way to go to be a good RV park. Will not stay there again.

We stopped here on our way back from Houston. We each ordered a vegetable flatizza, and the person who made the pizza was very generous with the toppings. Actually, he was perhaps too generous, and we found the pizzas kind of hard to eat because they were messy. We definitely got our money's worth, however, and would definitely recommend this Subway to other travelers.
