We were indeed famished after an early start and busy day in Innisfail so we went to this cafee for lunch. The food here was average although the plate of wedges was larger than expected. The coffee was also average and the prices too high for the fare provided.

Roscoe's has been around for a very long time and is locally owned. Great service and great food. We have our Staff Christmas Parties there as it offers a fabulous buffet to cater for all tastes. We eat there a few times a year as well as ordering take-away quite often :)

Just an average restaurant all the way round really - strange decor and tables quite close together. Had booked which was lucky as the place was full - one good sign I suppose. We're left waiting to order food and drinks - water never arrived had to be asked for again. Menu ok - quite a few options. Had staters - quite a while to arrive - if that's large Spring Rolls in Australia u need to visit our local takeaway back home in UK lol. Well the wait for our mains was very long - they did realise and apologised and gave us three free drinks which was a good touch - did get an extra star for that. Food was just ok - not very hot nod all three mains (we were sharing) came out separately which was poor. Not overly priced - my hosts who have used this place before did say it was not as good as it used to be - probably won't be back.

The coffee at Jagads is awesome, great flavor and served at a good temperature. Prices are good and the staff were quick and friendly. I shared raisin toast with a friend for a breakfast snack and sprinkled with cinnamon it was simple and nice with coffee.

If you are ever in Innisfail, you must take the short drive out to the "Flying Fish Point Cafe where you will dine on some of the best fish & chips that you have ever eaten.
The Spanish Mackerel is bought fresh everyday, then filleted and processed at the Cafe. Seema & Dave provide first class food, service, and outstanding hospitality.
We sat out on the verandah with a couple of beers, enjoying the cool breeze and the scenery, studied the menu, then ordered our lunch. The wife ordered the Prawn cutlets,Spanish mackerel,Chips & coleslaw,I just went for Fish & chips.
When our meals arrived they looked good and tasted delicious.Everything was perfect - from the batter,to the prawns,Spanish Mackerel, and Chips and coleslaw.
Thank you to Seema & Dave for providing such a memorable lunch.
We will definitely have lunch here again when we are next in this area.

This shop is packed full of continental goodies. salami, hams, cheeses, all those good things.
For lunch there is a Sandwich bar at the back of the shop. Its not fancy but served with love. The place gets busy with locals and every body knows everybody which is a good sign to know its where the locals are regulars.
Its affordable and good food.
Yes I will go again.

Sometimes when you're travelling it's hard to keep your diet nutritious and delicious, because food for tourists isn't made that way. But sometimes, you get lucky.
We were on our way to the eccentric Paronella Park when we saw the colourful old building in South Johnston, a small community nestled amongst the cane fields.
Advertising itself as a vegetarian, slow food place, it offered what I'd been craving.
Don't expect it to take a long time, don't expect it to be very expensive. Just expect very tasty, well presented food in a relaxed environment. We had spinich pie, red lentil soup, juice, coffee, and cake for dessert. All good. If you're visiting far North Queensland and want to eat well, this place is worth a visit.

We often go to Innisfail shopping and other business, and this is a nice quiet friendly little café with beautiful coffee and the menu offers a good variety of wholesome home cooked meals, very tasty indeed we will return. It is out of the way a little but always very tasty.

I decided to call in and have a cappuccino and read the paper at about 12-00 pm Sunday. It said sit and we do table service , well 20mins later I go to the counter to inform them my seat is here. 10 mins later my orders taken , then 10 mins later my coffee turns up. No they weren't that busy and yes the coffee was good . Pick up your game.

We sell a selection of light snacks, great coffee, tea, milkshakes, iced chocolate, iced coffee, smoothies and refreshing peach or lemon iced tea. We also have a fantastic selection of herbal teas made from rose petals, lavender buds, jasmine flowers, lemongrass & ginger and many more. We also serve beer, wine and spirits. The Emporium side is an Alladin's Cave of eclectic things ranging from vintage, substation, retro and so much more. All things bright and colourful is the name of our game and you will be tantalised and mesmorised by all that you see. Our mantra at Giallo Emporium is stylish and affordable furniture and homewares. You will be delighted beyond belief.
I almost missed it as it is on the outskirts of Innisfail (Cairns end), but so glad I did the U Turn. An arty boutique gift shop combined with a café that serves excellent coffee and has a great range of food (and other beverages)....MoreHi FlyingKiwi Thank you for your nice review. We strive to keep our coffee consistently good which takes a lot of work and commitment and reviews like yours makes it all worthwhile. See you next time. Regards Courtney
