This custard, frozen yogurt place offers a wide variety of treats to suit every taste. The service could be better. The reason for only three stars is that they only accept cash--tough call in this day and age. This is the main disadvantage. Their apple dumplings have decreased in size and they are a bit pricey for accepting only cash. The many flavors and varieties makes up for it. Would be nice to have better seating areas....not too ambitious in accommodations.

Teerak is a hidden gem in the Indiana area! It's a small family owned/operated establishment on Oakland avenue (by Burger King). The main waiter, Tae, is phenomenal. He is friendly, prompt, and does an excellent job at making sure all customers are taken care of, even on very busy days. I have been there at least 30 times since we moved to Indiana a year ago, and I can say that we've never had a bad meal, bad service, or a bad experience. The longest we've ever waited for our food has been 15 minutes, even when it's packed for lunch. We also order take out a lot and only have to wait 10-15 minutes for that as well. I have no idea how they can be so timely with such a small kitchen, but they somehow manage! I am continually impressed with everything about this place and honestly have nothing bad to say.
Now for the food advice: My favorite thing to get is the yellow curry fried rice. Highly, highly recommend! Honestly though I have tried the majority of the menu and everything is amazing. You will not regret checking this place out!

I have been to Caffe Amadeus a few times with my friends and have had great experiences every time. They have a very large selection of coffee and tea beverages, as well as assorted pastries, sandwiches, and other goodies. I've never had the food, but the various coffee drinks I have tried (flavored lattes, iced coffee, cappuccino) have been delicious. Also, they give you your coffee on these adorable vintage trays with small shot glasses of water to cleanse your palate. It's so unique and makes me feel like I'm significantly wealthier than I am!
If you're in town, I'd highly recommend stopping in and checking it out. It's unlike any other coffee shop here in Indiana.

After apartment hunting, we were in need of a nice dinner. We were unfamiliar with the area so I used my TripAdvisor App to find a restaurant. #2 out of 77 was Benjamin's Restaurant. It's an old redone house with a decent sized back yard. The most impressive part was the back patio and bar area. It has a very elegant appearance with tables arranged in different areas with lush foliage and lighting. That's where we chose to have our dinner. Our waitress was top notch. The food was even better. We ordered Crab Ravioli and Crab Alfredo linguini. They were the best I have ever had. We topped it off with Turtle cheese cake. I never would have found this gem if it wasn't for trip advisor.

OK the coffee house is good but be careful where you park. I decided to meet there to study because I love their green tea (iced). Parked and ran into a Stouffer Hall (building next door) to get a book from the professor for us to use. He had someone in his office so I waited. From parking to returning it was 32 minutes and my car was towed.
Now the coffee house did not do this and really is a great coffee house. My warning is in where you park. While I use to go frequently, I won't patron any of those establishments anymore because it's not worth the fee if I make a misjudgment and run to get material to be used in the study group. I asked everyone to join me at Starbucks and it was a successful study session.
Simply beware and be mindful and don't walk away from the building They have cameras (which I knew but thought a quick dash would be fine...I was wrong)

This place has been around Indiana for a long time and had some of the best subs in town! You will never be disappointed! They aren't open anymore on Sundays which is a bummer but you gotta respect that they are a family business so it's understandable.

Late evening dinner after a sporting event: we were seated quickly, had an amazing tall thin red head waitress, enjoyed fantastic entrees, which, for two GF guests, they joyfully subbed the tastiest steamed spinach you will ever eat! The haddock was perfect, the pasta was fantastic, the clams sauce was full, full, full of clams and the bread was spectacular! Too full for four desserts, we shared one: perfection peanut butter chocolate cake of some sort! Don't miss it! Impressive wine offerings made it all perfect!

We had a wonderful experience for Easter dinner at this place! Sue was wonderful and very attentive. The food was excellent and had many different options! We are already planning our next Thanksgiving dinner here!

My husband and I took our son to lunch there. He is a student at IUP and we were looking to go somewhere different from our ususal places to eat. The server was courteous and the food was decently priced. He got the breakfast and seemed to enjoy it. I got a Turkey club and my husband got the buffalo chicken salad. It wasn't anything spectacular but it was good. We went on a Sunday afternoon about 1:30pm. It wasn't very busy so we were able to get a seat very quickly. The service was good and quick. We would eat there again.
