Mmmmm! Had lunch here on a Saturday and it was excellent. Brisket was the most tender brisket I’ve ever eaten in my life! The sausage/link was wonderful. The sauces they present are both very thin...one a vinegar based and the other a tomato based. None were very spicy, which allowed the flavor of the meat to really shine! Friendly staff, and good prices. We’ll return.

If you have a sweet tooth, you'll want to check out Mayflower... Be sure to try the Italian Cream Cake. It's probably their # 1 seller. This business has been around for YEARS and still going strong. I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten there :)

Traveling through Huntsville, TX and wanted a good lunch. Wasn’t disappointed by The Farmhouse. Obviously a local favorite, it had a menu full of great options including the daily special. I was tempted by the chicken and dumplings (special) but settled on the delicious chicken fried chicken. If it weren’t for Trip Advisor reviews, I would never have found The Farmhouse. Thanks, Trip Advisor!

Really makes me question places when they don't keep food in stock. They were out of chicken so we substituted and the food was good service a bit slow but we came in for the chicken. Please correct this

My wife and I really enjoyed this place! She got the chicken fried missteak and I got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and pinto beans. We also got a coconut cream pie and she got the lemon meringue. Austin was our server and he did a great job.

Driving across Texas we found this spot along our route via TripAdvisor. The service was fast and the food was good. The Delta Barbecue sandwich was excellent. Egg salad and potato salad was also very good. Highly recommend.

Whenever I am in Huntsville and looking for a good Mexican meal, I immediately think of Los Pericos. This beautifully decorated restaurant consistently serves delicious Mexican food; the members of the staff at Los Pericos are friendly and attentive. There is sufficient parking around this restaurant.

1836 Steakhouse and Grill is located in an 1870's Italianate Villa-style home in the historic city of Huntsville. Served daily are USDA Choice and Prime steaks, seafood, and pasta. Wednesday night is prime rib night. Lunch menu features 10 entrees under $10.
Was looking forward to eating here and they did not disappoint. My wife has a food allergy and everyone from the waitress to the manager bent over backwards to make sure she was taken care of.
The drinks were perfect as was the steaks. Only thing that might have been better if the mac & cheese could have come in half size.
The desserts were so good as to make a fat man's thigh quiver.
Will be coming back as soon as I can find an excuse to be in the area.

Since 1959, Mr. Hamburger has served fresh, hand-formed hamburgers and hand-made onion rings. Now equally known for our fresh-cut french fries, pecan-smoked brisket, and real American fried catfish.
This was our second time to visit from Fort Worth. Their burgers are excellent. The staff is friendly, and the food comes out fast. I hated going without the burger, but I decided to venture out and try the grilled chicken sandwich. I am SO glad I did. It was amazing! One of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've eaten. The fries were delicious, as usual. We wish there was a location by our home.
