Great American food and my go to place when I have business associates come into town for lunch. Sandwiches and specials are the way to go here. Only downside is they are only open 3 weekdays for lunch so sometimes I'm forced to go elsewhere. Don't go here if you are looking for an adult beverage with your meal.

Fresh sweets daily. Pleasant staff
Catered the Christmas party and the food was EXCELLENT and the servings were large. All the meal was seasoned to taste, not overly strong or bland. Would recommend to anyone having a get together.

I'm originally from Texas and the food here was really good!
The chips and salsa were very good...chips were fresh and they were not too thick nor thin really good. I had the carne asada which was very tasty and the flour tortillas that came with it were awesome. Beans and rice were tasty as well.
Defiantly wood go back!

We are a full-time RV family and have traveled around the country for a few months now. Without question, our family's favorite type of food is Mexican...everywhere we stop, we look for a local Mexican Food Restaurant.
Rio Colorado did not disappoint. It's a nice little place with easy off-street parking. The service was good, the food flavor was respectable, and the prices were reasonable. The complementary chips were served warm and the salsa was quite tasty.
We would definitely recommend Rio Colorado traveling through Hohenwald, TN.

If the correct manager is working, the service and food is awesome, if not you'll see a line to the door and aggravated people everywhere. The men's restroom is always disgustingly filthy.

Not only was this the cleanest restaurant I have ever been to, the bathroom was super clean too. There was a sign in the bathroom that it is checked ever half hour. Food was great and properly prepared. Staff recommended the naked chicken chips and they were fantastic, glad we tried them. Also ordered a quesadilla and staff was thoughtful enough to confirm I wanted the sauce that comes on it. Kudos to management.

we actually were headed to a different restaurant across the street that was closed on Tuesdays - so we saw this and decided to try it - it was overall ok - we were seated immediately and our waitress seemed newer so we overlooked some slow service - it took over 20 min for our food to come out and it was just luke warm - the rib eye steak was tough and grizzly - once she dropped off the food she never came back to check on us and we had to wait a long time just too see her and get our check - thank goodness we didnt need anything during the meal - it was not all that busy other waitresses standing around many open tables - would hate to go during a busy time -- my husband had the pulled pork plate which was average -- the best thing was they offered steamed cauliflower for a side dish which is rarely seen in restaurants and had it been hot it would have been better --- the worst thing was the booth we sat in like 3 or 4 from the bathrooms when a gentleman would swing the swinging door of the mens room open you had a clear look at a urinal - not pleasant

24 Ozs of fresh hamburger, hand-patted into 3 burgers then grilled to taste. This MONSTER comes with fries. I can hold my own when eating, but this burger just sitting there daring me to eat it [hint: I LOST] I got about half of it down. I took it home and had 2 more meals on the carcass .
