The Pit Rib House has mastered the art of barbecue using the finest cuts of meat and then slow cooking them over an open wood pit. The result is a delicious, authentic wood-smoked flavor that guests have come to love. Our world famous ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and smothered in our sweet and tangy sauce.
In the neighborhood and it looked like a nice place. Also, I love BBQ.
Decor is fantastic. I enjoyed all the old stuff they have on the walls. Very comfortable, very clean.
Didn't have brisket my normal BBQ choice so I went with the ribs.
Told the server I was in a hurry...food came in 5 min.
Ribs are good. 1/2 falling off the bone but still need a pull. Sauce on the ribs seemed different than the jar on the table. Sorry to say but I didn't think the sauce on the table was special...rib sauce tasted much better. Cooking it?
Good cole slaw and fries.
Even though I gave it a 4 if I lived around there I'd be going a few times a month.
Really like everything.

We're a craft brewery, brewing all strengths and styles of beer. We also have a full bar with spirits, wine, cider, and craft sodas. Food trucks serve on weekend afternoons and evening. Our large outdoor patio has lots of seating if you a prefer to imbibe al fresco. ATM on site. Check our fb page or website for updates on the latest tapping and events.
I usually get the beer called crank it. It's fresh and tastes wonderful in my opinion. The crowd is friendly. Not a dive bar environment at all. I ride my Moutain bike and some how keep ending up here.

Shwarma, kabobs, lamb, non-alcoholic beverages, juices.
Went again to Al Bawadi and again it was amazing
Was visiting town for a show and went with a colleague from work.
We order the food and it was delicious. Hummus, baba ghanouj and a sample with a variety of meats and rice.
The food was enough for 4 or more, which means portions and very well served.
For desert we ordered Kenafa, perfectly cooked and well served.
They don’t serve alcohol, which is usual for a pure middle eastern restaurant, but the mint lemonade was fantastic.
Bill was $75 for two which is more than reasonable.
Service was friendly and we were greeted from the entrance until the end.
Great place, will definitely come back.

We did a lot of business at the Original Plush Horse the other day. We left with a birthday cake, two pies, cupcakes, a couple of chocolate milk shakes, a chocolate soda, a banana split and eight--count 'em, eight--quarts of ice cream. The Original Plush Horse at 12301 South 86th Avenue in Palos Park has been the "sweetest" landmark in the south suburbs for more than 75 years. You can't go there and just walk away with a waffle cone, can you? The trick is to decide which of about 40 flavors of ice cream you want to take home with you. I'll admit there are a couple of flavors that I'd like to see on the list--and I've make ownership aware of them--but it's hard to complain when there are so many delicious options. You can't take them all home, right? So on every visit to the Original Plush Horse, we choose eight. This time, we selected butter pecan, chocolate chip, cookies and cream, peach, cinnamon, strawberry, coconut gelato and apple pie. Oh, did I forget pralines and cream and banana fudge gelato and Rocky Road? Next time. Maybe by then they will have added orange sherbet or orange pineapple or rainbow sherbet or chocolate almond to the menu.

They have multiple locations, in Burr Ridge, Orland Park, South Barrington, Wheeling, Indianapolis
A group of five us went to Cooper's Hawk Winery to celebrate a birthday last Saturday night. It was pretty average experience. First, they put us at an expanded 4 top and the back of my chair was about 2 feet from the booth behind me. I was bumped and nudged by the wait staff throughout the meal. At a place this big, they should have a better spot for a party of five with a reservation. Not a good start.
The food was okay. I enjoyed the pot sticker, meatball, and brussel sprout appetizers that the group shared, but the skirt steak that I had for a main was not memorable. However, the experience really suffered from the timing of the meal. It was the entire time. First, we had a difficult time getting our waiter to take a cocktail order. Second, we didn't have table settings until the appetizers arrived, when we flagged down another server to get them. Next, the first bottle of wine was gone in the initial pour around the table. We weren't asked if we wanted another, and when we were finally able to request it, the bottle arrived just prior to dessert. Finally, all of the desserts came out at the same except one. It arrived once everyone else had finished. A weak excuse was offered, but no mention of taking it off the bill.
In the end, the food was okay, but the experience was disorganized and disjointed. Can't say that we'll be rushing back anytime soon.

It was quite crowded because it was Chinese New Years and the closest Asian restaurant to the Moraine Valley Fine and Performing Arts Center. We were there for a pre-show dinner. They did the best they could -- we made the show -- not everything came out as requested or together.

Maybe even below average. Mushrooms from a jar, soggy green peppers and bland sausage are not the ingredients that I'm looking for in my pizza. Thin crust was nice enough but was overwhelmed by blah flavor of the toppings. One and done for me, thank you.

We wanted "good" sub sandwiches and decided to try Peppo's based on the reviews. We were so glad we came. The sandwiches where just what we were looking for. Fresh, quality and delicious. I got the ham, salami and Swiss sub with guts (a great fresh relish like topping) and giardiniera . It was delicious. One 11" serves two.
Staff was super kind and helpful. The restaurant was very clean.
