With a New Hampshire sugar shack attached a quaint place for a great breakfast with steady quality real maple syrup, homemade muffins and friendly service. Come afternoon the outdoor ice cream window serves great ice cream, sundae,s and sorbets. Generous portions makes this a must for ice cream lovers as well a smaller portions for those into moderation.

I have stopped here often and it has always been a good experience. Their bathrooms are incredibly clean and so is the restaurant. The staff is always nice and has never gotten my order wrong or incomplete.

Appetizers, main courses and desserts - all very good. The environment is an old new Englander home converted into a restaurant. The rooms are small and thus, it doesn't get very noisy. By all means, get the home made HUMMUS and bread. YUM. The pistaccio baklava is wonderful as a dessert item. This place is very good in all aspects of the meal. Service is a bit slow, yet it is worth the wait.

Something for everyone, breakfast all day until 9 PM, plus salads, sandwiches, burgers and wraps. Very creative offerings, well prepared and fairly priced.
I ordered the Bup, a thin sliced short rib sandwich with cheddar cheese, tomato with horseradish mayo on crispy toasted white bread and kettle chips, a home run! My wife had 1/2 egg salad sandwich on white with a cup of home made tomato soup. She said it was the best tasting tomato soup she's ever been served.
There's a full bar and specialty soft drinks. Another hidden NH gem!

You can't go wrong with any pizza made here. The market has excellent marinated meats and local products. Great beer selection as well.

Needed something to eat while driving through southwestern New Hampshire and chose Country Spirit based on TripAdvisor rating. Great choice. Very convenient! Just off rte 9. We both had chowder -- a delicious New England corn that day -- and I had a blt and my wife a Turkey salad sandwich. Both were among the best such sandwiches we've ever had. Bacon in mine was especially delicious! Menu is large and varied. You can't go wrong here.

We had dinner here last night after attending the Hillsborough fair. Took a while to get a seat at the bar as they were busy. The patio was still open and there were tables available outside and in. The restaurant area wasn't packed but busy.
Seems to be a local bar - many of the folks appeared to know each other. People were friendly and we had a pleasant conversation with a couple of the patrons. The bartender was friendly and took our order, remembered our sides (a big plus), and filled our glasses.
As mentioned in numerous reviews - the kitchen is slow. Really slow. We ordered chili as a starter and it took 20-30 minutes to arrive. Not sure why - there should be a big pot in the back, add some cheese, pop in the broiler and send out. Despite the wait, the chili was very tasty. Our meals arrived shortly thereafter (salad, fish tacos). They were both surprisingly good and worth the wait. The prices were reasonable and they have a fairly diverse menu. Good selection of beers on tap too. Our bill was $55 for dinner, appetizer, and drinks.
They're a bit far from home but we'll definitely stop in again if in the area.

So glad we found the Local while exploring NH's backroads. Cute little town. Great menu with tons of sandwich options from burgers to a Turkey, apple, bacon melt. Handmade egg rolls were a treat, too. Lots of homemade sauces. Very fresh and quality ingredients. Fast, attentive service. Great beer selection, too. Plenty of free parking on the street outside. Great place to fill up before visiting Rollins State Park nearby. Just remember they let the last car in at 4pm in the summer -- pretty early! So plan ahead.

Nice place with great service. Stopped in while passing through for a late lunch. Food was extremely salty but was otherwise well prepared.
