Great experience! I liked the salad bar (especially the broccoli salad and sweet as love watermelon pickles), my steak was well-marbled as advertised, cooked perfectly, and came out sizzling on a cast iron pan!
The heart and soul of any restaurant is it's staff. Service was impeccable and I especially enjoyed the opportunity to chat with Sherry and Crystal, and others, during and after dinner service. They were clearly wanting to deliver a good customer service experience for their guests and despite being a stranger, made me fell right at home. Thank you.

Small Cafe across the street from the Historic Court House. Family owned and operated. We serve gourmet Coffee, up to 18 flavored coffees with 15 flavored syrups and three Sugar Free Flavors. A nice cozy atmosphere which lends itself to conversations. We also serve 14 flavors of Hand Dipped Ice Cream and we have the best Cinnamon Rolls around.
During our trip from Memphis to Nashville we passed a small town called Henderson. We decided to stop for a cup of coffee. This is how we got in this little restaurant. The owners are very friendly and they serve a great breakfast. They also have a supper menu:
Monday's: Beef Roast, Tuesday's: Pork Loin Roast, Wedenesday's: Spaghetti, Thursday's: Meat Loaf and Friday's: Crock Pot Chicken. They also serve special coffee's and ice-creams. Their Cinnamon Roll's are home made and perfect.
If you happen to be in the neighbourhood visit this restaurant. You won't regret it.
It is situated across from the courthouse.

This may have been the first time I have eaten at Bell's Drive In since being a student at Freed Hardeman University over 15 years ago. The restaurant and food remain unchanged. Every employee we encountered was extremely friendly as you would expect in a small town. The prices are in line with any fast food restaurant and the food is much better. The burgers are the big draw and they advertise theirs as "the best burger this side of heaven". I probably wouldn't go that far but it was certainly good. Payment is made at the counter after your meal and they only accept cash.
Bell's Drive In is a great authentic diner that is worth a stop if you happen to be in rural west Tennessee.

Good place for ice cream but my choice is always the Turtle Pie. You will not want to stop eating....I do recommend.

After seeing the other few reviews, I wish we had been to Jack’s for breakfast, because it sounds pretty good. But were there around 1pm on a Sunday, and although one staff person told us we could order “anything except eggs” from the breakfast menu, we decided on lunch instead. Our food was typical of a chain restaurant, some of it was good, some passable, nothing really terrible. My wife’s chicken meal was delicious. The chicken was hot and juicy, obviously freshly cooked, and with two sides even the two-piece meal was more than enough. My double cheeseburger was just okay. It had been sitting in the window or under the heat lamp, because it was lukewarm, almost cold but not quite. The seasoned fries are good… until you eat a few. Wow! These things are really salty! Since it was early Sunday afternoon, the after-church crowd was out in full force, but the staff handled the rush more or less efficiently. We noticed a couple of orders that got messed up – one guy got the wrong burger, and another man and a lady (not together) waited long enough that they left. Apparently the lady is a regular, and they gave her all of her take-out order except one item, so she called the staff girl by name and told her not to worry about it, she was leaving and would see her next week. But this review is about our order, which arrived promptly and accurately. Just wish my burger had been warmer, and that someone would back off just a little on the seasoning for the fries. It was still good enough that we would stop by again if we’re in the area.

Looking for a great little place to have lunch or an afternoon sweet? THIS is your place! It's a great little mom 'n' pop place right in the heart of downtown Henderson. Their lunch specials make their meals more-than-affordable, and the quality is unequalled! I'd definitely recommend this as a must-visit.

I eat here every time I am in town for an event at Freed Hardeman. Always a good crowd, but rarely do I have to wait long if at all.

When you pull up you might question am I at the correct place! Come on in!! You won't regret it! Best pulled pork BBQ! Best ribs!! Cole slaw, beans!! This is the place!! VERY friendly owners! Most customers are regulars -- they remember your usual order too :)!! You can get your sandwich saucy or no sauce. They even have HOT HOT sauce behind the counter, just ask. Try it, you won't go anywhere else!
