This is one the most consistently good Italian food restaurants where I have eaten. Service is attentive and friendly! Owners are always there making sure everyone is pleased and happy! Great for small groups to large groups! Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I were in town visiting family and decided to grab a coffee after a long day of traveling. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the coffee was and that a place like this even existed in Henderson. We decided to go back a second time. On that visit, I asked about the pumpkin spiced flavored latte hoping for some insight to the flavor as in is it overly sweet, pumpkin-y, more spicey, etc., because I've never ordered one from a coffee shop and it tasted just like every other PSL in the world. Some are good and some are not. Instead, from the gentleman at the counter, I got a very loud, sarcastic response of, "Well, it depends on if you like pumpkin spice!" Gee, thank you for that insightful response. I would have raved and told all of our family and friends about this place had our second visit gone a little differently. Someone once told me, "It only takes 30 seconds to lose a customer." Perhaps this would be some helpful information for employees/owners to keep in mind.

We stopped here on our drive through Henderson Texas and I must say it's been a long time since I've been to DQ. I think this is the nicest location I've ever been to. The staff is wonderful, the restaurant is clean, friendly, and we even had our food delivered to our table. The walls are covered with photos and original DQ ads. There is a sign saying it's the oldest DQ in Texas and I can see why - excellent southern hospitality.

Yummy treats! Fresh kolachis and giant fritters.. We went in daily during a family vacation and they staff was kind enough to throw in extra pastries! Not a chain store ..but they did a great job!

Judging from recent reviews, I guess my dinner visit to Hushpuppies was just a bad night. The decor was rustic East Texas, with hunting trophies and metal signs, farm house collectables, etc. on the walls. Crowded, with a wait on a Friday evening at 7:30 before the Heritage Festival, but plenty of seating in booths and tables. I was disappointed in my meal of fried fish and shrimp. The catfish were over-breaded and over-cooked and I had to cut it with a knife. The hushpuppies were very spicy and the coleslaw was watery. The spicy ranch beans were the only thing I really enjoyed. Best part was the staff, who were friendly and attentive. Maybe just a bad night with lots of people and orders.

We had dinner at Cotton Patch Café in Henderson, Texas recently with some dear friends. Even though the café was busy, it was on Friday night, we were greeted and seated quickly. We ordered water then placed our food order. I was surprised at how quickly the food arrived. It was hot and fresh, and everyone enjoyed the dinner. We had fried chicken strips, French fries, strawberry salad, baked potatoes, grilled pork chops and hot rolls.

Nothing fancy here. Bob's has been serving great meals for many years. Plenty of seating, friendly folks, and great BBQ. I had the chopped beef sandwich with 2 sides and it was all very tasty. Talking to diners while I was there, I heard recommendations for the brisket, ribs, sausage, and cobbler. I look forward to my next visit.

We recently ate here with family and the food was extremely good. Everyone in the party liked the food. I have only had Chili Relleno a couple times at various restaurants and it was so so. I ordered here and it came with two stuffed rellenos, along with the side fix'uns. I have to say it was the best I've ever had bar none. Next time I'm in Henderson rest assured I will be having chili Relleno at Francisco's.

I visited the Rusty Star Cafe twice while in Henderson for the Heritage Festival. The decor is clean, plain and open, with lots of tables and booths and signs advertising local businesses high on the walls. My first stop was a late lunch where I...MoreThanks for the feedback I read and listen to every one so that we can improve where we need to , Hope to see you soon! Rusty
