Awesome, yes go here! Not that hungry but want a taste? They have a tiny baby cone for a dollar. seating outside and parking on the street. Their custard is excellent. You can thank me later.

Food...friends...fun, Just what every community needs. That is why the Red Oak Pub and Restaurant Newark OH is the perfect place to dine, gather, and hang with a lot of laughs, great food, best burgers and a precise beer selection. The warm welcoming décor of exposed brick walls, oak wood and perfect music will enhance our warm hospitality to every guest that walks through the door. Red Oak Pub in Newark Ohio fits our guest of any age, families, singles, couples, grandparents or business people.
Well it's a sports bar with typical American bar and grill servings so nothing very different from what you find in many other places. We had some wings, salads, and pale ales which were all good. There are numerous large TVs visible from any seating position. There was an epic baseball game on most of the TVs with that game's sound on the PA system but we went there for Monday Night Football. They were very accommodating, giving us a table near a TV showing the football game, and turned down the volume on the house sound a bit so we could hear the football broadcast where we were seated. The server (Leanne) was very attentive.

Our family was visiting from Guadalajara, Mexico. Our party included a toddler, a carnivore, and two people who formerly lived in a Bangladeshi neighborhood in NYC.
We were seated with smiles, and served complimentary small bowls of soup and cups of mango lassi while we read the menu. It took a while to decide, so they brought a plate of tandoori chicken and a small order of fries (for the child), also complimentary. Finally, we ordered a platter of tandoori mixed grill, Saag panir, and vegetarian samosas for the table. The mixed grill was good (chicken, lamb, shrimp and spicy ground chicken kebabs). The Saag panir was the best I've ever had. Garlic and butter naan also excellent. No room for dessert. We took uneaten food with us. Such a lovely place, located in a building with an inelegant exterior next to a budget motel. The only negatives were a server who did not know the menu and cheap plastic tablecloths. Great food.

You can't beat Dizurts for freshly baked donuts. The cream-filled variety has cream filling from the first bite to the last. No skimping here! Their cupcakes are divine! They also do custom cakes and catering. Owners Mike and Tracey are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Stop in and treat yourself to something sweet.

When traveling, we always seek out locally owned coffee shops. This was a great find. Everything is locally sourced when possible. The employees are very friendly and the cook accommodated my special requests perfectly. This is a must stop for coffee and breakfast.

We had a toddler with us, so we were not sure what to expect. The server and chef each made sure she had what she needed: a booster seat, special hinged chopsticks so she could play with her food as well as eat it, and good miso soup.
We chose this place based on good reviews, even though none of us had ever been to this type of Japanese restaurant before. We were seated around a square cooking area with eight seats; our party of four filled half and another party of four was seated with us. I'm not sure their plans for a special evening included a child, but they did not complain. The flames frightened the toddler ( and me, I must admit), but it was a good show, and fun to watch our chef cook the simple meals of fried rice and vegetables, with a choice of shrimp, lobster, chicken, steak and scallops. I had shrimp, which was good but plain. My husband had l which he found to be a bit tough.
They provided sauces which they called "Yum Yum" (creamy and made with mayonnaise), and Ginger, which they described as "like Italian dressing."
We have eaten in many other Japanese restaurants. This experience made me feel like a tourist but not in a way that was educational. Fun, though.

Stopped by here on a Sunday morning, based on the reviews we'd read. Great service, friendly folks and outstanding food at an excellent price. I can't vouch for lunch, but breakfast was great! It has a New York, diner-style motif. At least one breakfast menu item is only available on the weekends, but that's just a testament to their desire to "get it right". This has become one of our "go to" places for breakfast. BRAVO!

The idea for City Barbeque was born as an invitation to all the people in the city to enjoy great barbeque- America's food. Our award-winning barbeque is made with only the highest quality meats and served with our signature sauces on the side. Huge smokers are loaded daily to guarantee the very best hickory smoked, juicy, tender meat anywhere. So if an authentic barbeque experience is what you're after, look no further. Small groups of folks like us still believe in honoring quality, generations of tradition and true service. Whether you call it barbecue, Bar-B-Que, BBQ, or barbeque - we've got what you are looking for!
Wow what an experience! Stopped by for a nice dinner with friends after watching football scrimmage. Let me say that my companions are big people who enjoy eating vast quantities of food. No one (even me) went away hungry! I had the "pick two" and added two sides. Brisket and pulled pork, along with mac&cheese and corn bread. Meat had very nice smoke flavor, tender, and very little fat. Sauces (on the side) were very nice sweet style. Mac&cheese was adequate (nothing spectacular), but corn bread was a small loaf that was freshly baked and just wonderful. They also had a special on buckets of beer (4 for $10). As I mentioned, several of my big eater friends could not finish their suppers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We stopped by this restaurant, without checking the reviews first, but just wanted to try something different. Our service was wonderful and everything that we ordered tasted great. Now they were not super busy, so I would like to see if we run into any problems when they are busier. I ordered the Whale Tail sandwich and it was huge. I wasn't sure that I was going to be able to finish half of it. I am looking forward to going back and trying some of their other foods.
