I wanted to take my special lady to a special place to celebrate our 27th anniversary. I called for reservations and in conversation mentioned it was an anniversary celebration.upon arrival there was valet parking. Entering the restaurant, we were greeted, reservation was checked, and brought to our table. Menus were presented, water and hot bread delivered. Everything on the menu is a la cart, and higher priced thus making this location a special occasion restaurant. We had a glass of white wine to toast our occasion, and our server came by and told us of the specials. I was impressed that he remembered it all. We chose two of the mentioned specials, duck, and scallops, with a side of spinach, and four jumbo shrimp for the appetizer. The wine was good, water was refilled without a cue, and a another hot bread was ordered. The shrimp arrived on a ice filled tray with lemon and cocktail sauce. They were skinless, large and meaty. The meals arrived with impressive status. The spinach side was a tasty purée. With my duck came string beans and a yam purée. The food was delicious and prepared well. For dessert we shared a parfait. Every time our plates were removed, the table was cleaned off of crumbs. The parfait arrived with a surprise touch. It was remembered that this was an anniversary dinner, and the parfait arrived on a platter with lit candles in two strawberries with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. The parfait was made with fresh whip cream, chocolate pudding, and berries. A delicious way to end a delicious meal. It as a great dinner experience. We were not rushed, service was tops as the staff was polite and courteous. Through the meal, staff checked with us to be sure all was well. It was a grand celebration!!
I had trouble clicking the ratings so I will include them within this narrative. Service, Food, and Value are Excellent.

We dined outside and it was a beautiful night. The service is really good. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The prices are fair and the food is always fresh. I had my favorite , tortilla soup and quesadillas. My 12 yr. old had a cheeseburger and french fries. There is a good selection for everyone and I am very picky. Can't wait to come back

How can I forget my beautiful Log Cabin? As little girls my sister and I would cross the street from our school and go to the Log Cabin (now Sparky's) for french fries. Oh the memories! Good food.

The Hudson Water Club sits within a beautiful waterside setting, against sweeping views of the Hudson River. Inside, snazzy terrazzo tile, vaulted ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows make for tremendous use of the natural views of the river. The restaurant's cuisine is Contemporary American with a strong emphasis on seafood designed by our CIA trained Executive Chef Michael Dobias. Chef Dobias focuses on local ingredients and strives to feature seasonal items at their peak of freshness. Our diverse menus combine classic favorites with modern twists to be savored in surroundings of breath-taking river views and exceptional service and hospitality.
Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon with a friend to have a cocktail. Ended up ordering the Seafood Tower for Two (around $60). AWESOME. I was actually full after stuffing myself. Haha. Excellent quality on the raw bar. And plenty of it. Service was outstanding (Joe or was it Chrissy?) was behind the bar. Simply great service and attitude. Not a craft beer guy but got caught up in trying what they have --- and it's excellent. A new go-to place for certain.

We have eaten here many times and we always enjoy the food. Large portions and friendly service.
Candy basket on the way out is always nice.
Bonus I purchased a coupon card good for 1 year and you receive a free appetizer with every visit. I purchased from a high school student who was selling coupons door to door.

We had a great experience here at TFS. We had just finished bowling nearby at Hi-Tor Lanes and wanted a bit. We noticed the typical fast food options around including, McDonalds, KFC and Taco Bell, but wanted something out of the ordinary. After seeing great reviews for TFS we decided to give it a try. Lots of parking space with lots of seating. We were surprised to see how empty it was for 4PM on a Friday. I would imagine there would be a big after-school crowd. The decor is awesome. The garage themed space, including garage doors which open onto the outdoor patio/seating areas in the warmer months, the Snap-On tool cabinets which hold the condiments and even the pull-drawn door for the bathroom were all awesome. The staff there was excellent. Friendly, patient and helpful throughout our entire time there. I was able to sample the beers before getting one of their local craft beer (brewery is around the corner). All of our questions were answered while ordering. We ended up getting the wings, chicken sandwich, french fries and a hot dog. That, a soft drink (free refills) and a jar of beer totaled $30. Everything ranged from great to excellent. After ordering, our food was brought out to us in about 10-15 minutes. The place was very well-kept as expected by the staff who was constantly busy working. If not cooking the food, they wee wiping down the tables and making sure everything was in order. I would definitely go back to try more items including the burger, which looked amazing, I just didn't have any room left.

Lynch's is a friendly, local place. A pub at heart, but the menu includes numerous updates on classics and items one would not normally see on a pub menu. I had the California burger served with house-made onion rings and my husband had the fish tacos. The issue on the day we went was the service. There was a catered event going on in the other room and this lead to errors and neglect. I ordered the veggie burger with no tomato and onion rings and it came with the tomato and French fries. I had also asked that the English muffin be well toasted and even the second time around, it was basically uncooked. The fish tacos were delicious but not served as hot as one might like. When we ordered our food, we ordered Sam Adams on tap and then waited 15 before they were brought to our table. The owner introduced himself when we came in and then came over upon hearing of the issues we encountered. He was apologetic yet appreciative that we explained the shortcomings so that they can be corrected. To compensate, our beers were on the house and he also included a 20% discount for the meal. Reaction to a problem is as much part of rating as the problem itself, hence the 4-stars. This is one of the few nice places in this area of 9W and I would go back if in the area. Despite the issues, we had a lovely time.
