Who doesn't love an old ice cream parlor... and this one is darling! They did such a great job putting their space together and making people feel like they are back in the day. The décor, the retro candies, the stools and booths... all very cute. The downside, however, was the actual ice cream and the selections offered. The ice cream was not bad, but really was nothing special. I think they would benefit greatly from offering a menu of ice cream options. It is pretty much al a carte there, which is ok.. but having something more exciting to choose from would have been nice.
The other thing I didn't care for was how we placed our order and then were asked to find a seat and our ice cream would be brought out to us... but only to have to leave our ice cream to come up and pay. One, I don't want to leave my food unattended and two, it's ice cream and it's starting to melt. I would have much rather preferred to pay first, when I placed the order, or after I was done eating it. I found their way of doing things a little frustrating.

For a group of 12 women for lunch, the restaurant provided two servers which made ordering and food delivery smooth and efficient. The menu was varied and so everyone got just what she wanted and all of the food was appetizing and served as promised. The quesadillas were particularly popular and exceptionally good, the Friday fish fry was available on a Thursday with light breading and perfectly prepared fish. And despite the generous servings, there wasn't much food left on the plates.

Coffee Cafe
A great decor, but the price point come on. A plain muffin and 2 plain coffees $9 something, plus tip for a small town? please. .. .The food is average, and tastes like a heat/serve from a food broker. Sad since small towns need more coffee places.

A nice Hartford custard stand. They have other food and snacks but can be pricey and small portioned. A nice hot summer treat. They have regular classic cars on display that customers drive in to show.
Easy access from Hwy 83 south just 2 miles south of Hwy 60 center of Hartford. Small parking lot. Outdoor benches for seating.

We met with friends for dinner at Casa Tequila and were pleased with the experience. I received good tasting authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price> Service was efficient and friendly. I didn't try any of the drinks but they looked good! I'll be back again next time I'm in Hartford.

This place was hopping for fish fry. We arrived and had to wait a little bit for seating. It's a older building - which makes the setting unique. Food was good. My negative for this establishment it was loud and hard to converse with my husband during our meal.

Looking for a bargain? This rustic atmosphere restaurant will provide this. A game room is separate from the main dining room , but a quiet dining atmosphere will not be achieved here. The servers are attentive, but again looking to turn their tables for more tips. The food is average, with most of the entrees food broker specials . Again, you want quantity and not quality this is your place

Decided to try this place last minute and was Pleasantly surprised. The menu was varied and the selections rather numerous.
The staff is super helpful and friendly which is becoming a rarity these days.
Food was hot and tasty & the drinks ample size. Seating is limited and the place fills up rather fast. So early is better when arriving especially on a Friday night.
I found parking to be the only issue as one has to park remotely and the lot across the street doesn't fit larger cars/vans. Overall a very good place to dine with prices inline with the area and larger portions.

Tucked in off a main highway, this diner will satisfy your need for good old America diner food. The food is hot, prepared on site, and delivered with a great cup of coffee. The atmosphere is minimal but who cares when you have wonderful food/service. The hours are minimal so breakfast /lunch only.

This restaurant is located on HWY 60 on the east side of Hartford Wisconsin. We dine here at least twice a month. The buffet is well stocked with a variety of fresh wholesome food. Everything is prepared fresh on site. There is no precooked entries. Soup, salads, dinner rolls and all other dishes are fresh and tasty. This is not like any other buffet I have dinned at. The servers are friendly and attentive.
