Stopped for the first time ever while traveling through Harrisburg. Stopped because we are always looking the thin crust pizza that beats our hometown favorite, and we rarely find it. If it's as good or better than Monicals, it's good and Mackies passed the test! We will be back.

The Dairy Queen on hwy 231 is right on the walking trail. Love getting a ice cream and taking a walk on the trail. The last 2 times we have been there they were a little slow on service and there was a customer complaining about their hamburgers. We only get the ice cream and have never had any problems.

In town with friends decided breakfast together here would work and we were very pleased with decision! Quaint location menu desirable and plentiful along with the prices! We all were very pleased and definitely recommend this place to anyone! Would like to try lunch next time in town!

Was just at the Bar-BQ-Barn over the Labor Day weekend. Stopped in at what looked to be close to closing time (based upon their posted times) but they had no problem serving us. Had the $5.00 pork sandwiches that included fries and it was crazy delicious. They have a salad bar which comes with many of the dinners on the menu.
The place is so cool that you have to take a little time checking it out while they make your meal. Looking forward to hitting this place again when we have more time and hungrier.
Ample parking and they are right in Route 13 which is a main drag in that area.
Note: They are closed on Sunday (too bad as we would have eaten there if they were open but respect their values).

Wasn't expecting much after having been to the other Chinese places in town, but this place was a nice surprise! The service was fast, the food was delicious, and the prices are reasonable. We are 2 people and spent $20. The atmosphere is a little awkward and quiet, music would be nice. Only downside though. The egg drop soup and egg rolls are the best I've had!

It's a Ponderosa. Not great. Not bad. Not too high but not a bargain. About all the food is the same temperature. Not hot. Not cold. Sort of cooler than room temp or warmer than room temp.

We ate there on a Friday night around 6:30 pm, they had a special on filet mignon steaks as well as a catfish fillet dinner. Our group totalled six and it was definitely a friendly place and family oriented as well. Most of my crew ate Italian but I had the Filet and it was great, their food was good as well, it came pretty fast as well. We were full afterwards with no room for dessert. I would definitely eat there again. It is quite popular in the area, we had to park across the street in one of three parking lots in the area.

There's nothing fast in this place. Not getting your order taken, coffee and drinks delivered or getting your food off the counter before it gets cold. Couldn't tell if the omelet or my hash browns were any good because they were cold!!! Had to get up to get my own coffee after looking at the bottom of my cup for 10 minutes. The place was not busy at all and they had two waitresses. This place is a waste of space. Too bad Harrisburg doesn't have any sit down cafes anymore. I don't know who was working when the people who rated this good but they need to work them more. Won't be back.

El Ran was recommended over Tequilas and this assessment is accurate in my opinion. Choices are limited in Harrisburg whatever cuisine you're looking for. We all found the food to be quite good, but nothing special. Free chips/salsa is always a plus. Server was efficient and nice. We did have to ask for more tequila in our margarita pitcher.

Don Lunas has the best Mexican around, inexpensive, order from the counter (and they are quick!), small eating area. Great for eating in or take out. I like their chicken tacos, and I order them special on soft corn tortillas.
