YUM! Seriously, this is some of the most delicious ice cream (yes, I know it's gelato, but let's get real here) I've ever had! The hazelnut chocolate is nutella-licious, and the servers are always kind and patient with my kids (and with me when I am feeling indecisive). They offer taster spoons if you're having trouble making up your mind, and they even offer loyalty and gift cards. When the weather is nice and you can sit at one of the outside tables, it's pretty much a sublime experience. Enjoy!

Such a cute restaurant. We had to wait, but another customer said it's worth the wait and the wait would be short! It was worth the wait and the line moved fast.
We had a salad and we shared the cauliflower Mac n cheese.....OMG!!!
We also shared a homemade donut.
We saw other dishes that looked so good as well!
We will list this restaurant as one of our favorites!!!!

a dream come true. I’m a baker who was taught to bake by mom using KAF 50 plus years ago, and having been a patron from the store and mailings, this was a great opportunity to attend the baking school with my 90 yr old mom, sister and daughter who was flying into the area from San Diego for the Thanksgiving school break. We took the eclairs baking class and had excellent teacher and helpers. We left with tons of eclairs and we ate them and brought home the filling and made them the next day to take to a Party where we ate more of them. Well done KAF. If I lived here, I’d work here. Not to mention the fortune I spent at the store and than had to have it all shipped back to San Diego, good thing, I’m a Reward member. We wanted to stay for lunch at the cafe but it was PACKED and we wanted to get on the road for the drive back to Central NY. Well done, King Arthur..

Individually brewed coffees. Full espresso menu. Coffees roasted daily. Home-made pastries and desserts. Light-fare lunch menu. Home-made ice creams and gelato. Home-made confections. Large smoothie menu made with our own frozen yogurt and fresh fruit. Juice Bar.
The coffees are terrific, and each one is made individually and on the spot. The pastries are nice as well. Full sandwiches available for a big appetite. Seating is also available but limited. Great service and you can get anything in this quaint coffee shop with a vintage feel. It's worth the trip just for the coffees.

Can you please add sandwiches and/or lunch spot to your type of cuisines. Bakery is so limiting and doesn't really describe many places that sell sandwiches on homemade bread and coffee and salads etc.
Umpleby's bakery is a popular cafeteria in Hanover, a small town largely occupied by students. Umpleby's serves tasty breakfast sandwiches and other foodstuff. Place is silent and an ideal place for a good discussion. My experience is that many customers were doing some academic exercises with their computers. I visited the place two times during my visit to Hanover and it is probably the best cafeteria if you want to discuss with friends and enjoy you coffee and eatings.

Jasper Murdock's Alehouse, a restaurant in Norwich, Vermont, features one restaurant menu, whether or not your preferred dining venue is the Pub, Outdoor Patio, Dining Room or Terrace. The menu is extensive, diverse and moderately priced, offering Pub favorites while adding more substantial entrees. A number of items include ingredients from Jasper Murdock Ales made on site. Our Norwich, VT restaurant and brewery feature seating available on a "first come, first served" basis in the Pub/Patio while reservations are available in the Dining Room and Terrace areas. Private, group dining is available for parties of 4 to 100.
Really just came for the beer. They had a very nice selection of their home brews. Bartender was extremely attentive and sociable.

Contemporary American Cuisine
I have mixed feeling about Elixir. It strives for fine dining in White River Junction, Vermont. However, it comes up just short of four stars, even considering its locale.
Our table had the mussels and crabmeat stuffed calamari. The mussels were considered excellent while the calamari was imaginative yet left something to be desired. For main courses we had shrimp scampi, cocoa dusted petit filet mignon and veal saltimbocca. The veal was outstanding, a superb dish at any restaurant in the world. The scampi was ordinary. The filet mignon was tender but not especially flavorful. My wife ascribed it to the way in which beef is raised today; I ascribe it to kitchen failure. For desert I had a truly horrendous chocolate cake thingy while another in our party had an ordinary ice cream sandwich.
The restaurant itself is sparse which some might describe as minimalist. Our waitress was excellent, being both personable and interesting. Most importantly, she laughed at my attempted humor. In speaking with the owner, it was clear that he takes great pride in his restaurant and strives for excellence. Perhaps this review will assist.

We found this place by reading reviews and enjoyed the dinner. The place was not fancy, but the food was decent. We went in at a very busy time, the receptionist was also in charge of taking phone orders, he was a bit impatient, but the waitress was very polite and responsive. Although the food was not on par with others we had at bigger cities, we enjoyed our meal.

Murphy's on the Green - Exceptional Food in Hanover, New Hampshire *** Murphy's is very LOCAL. We purchase almost all of our meat, produce, dairy and bread products from our many high quality Upper Valley Farms and purveyors and we appeal to the new 'locavore' movement... eating and purchasing food within 100 miles of your location. Our 'day boat' seafood comes 'hand picked' from the docks of Boston. We are proud members of the Vermont Food Network.
My son and I were in Hanover to visit Dartmouth College. We stopped into Murpheys to eat. The owner recommended the night's specials, which we got. The food was superb, and they had an excellent beer and wine selection and a great atmosphere. The bar area has a superb Irish pub vibe. The owner spent a good deal of time with us to tell us about Hanover and Dartmouth. Highly recommend for food or drinks!

We make the finest handcrafted chocolates around. We are specialized in brigadeiros (bree-gah-day-ros), these luscious, handcrafted, chocolate truffle balls that consist primarily of local ingredients from the beautiful farms of Vermont and New Hampshire. We offer french press coffee, teas and hot chocolate, as well as delicious cupcakes and cakes by the slice.
Really awesome place for some good soul chocolate. I call it soul since it touches your tongue. Tummy and reaches your soul. Satisfactory and filling. Cupcakes, coffee and gift baskets are also a great reasons to go there. The owner is very kind and mostly there working....
The place is small but super cute. See my photos....
Remember to join the rewards program....free coffee abd free chocolates never hurt anyone.
