Food was perfect. Three course menu with wines just great! Tarte tatin was best ever - thank you for the host Nixu - we enjoyed the evening!

Restaurant Origo is the oldest warehouse restaurant in Eastern Harbour of Hanko. A la carte dining room is located in the base of the house and is lit with mainly candle lights. Famous seafood buffet is served daily and presents the best of local fishermen as well as the house kitchen. The restaurant is famous for the salmon soup and pepper steak but we serve also several local dishes as boviks lamb and local hunters game. The restaurant has a terras with nice harbour wiew. Origo is the only a la carte restaurant to hold open daily all year around.ll.

Good dinner, expensive. Given location I was surprised that there are no views (it is like a stone vault with hardly any windows). Might be nice to eat outside on the Terrace if it ever gets warm enough in Finland.Thank you for visiting! The building is almost 200 years old and has been a storage. We are not allowed to change the walls and to build some windows because it is protected. Welcome again, have a nice autumn!

This beautiful summer Terrace made us feel that we were in somewhere next to Mediterranean. Authentic experience starting from the waiter who enticed us to come in when we were still uncertain. Excellent antipasti dish for starter and delicious homemade pasta for main course topped off with wonderful glass of rose. What more could you want? Oh, and did I mention gorgeous harbour view?

Tiny and chill place at eastern harbour Marina (östra hamnen/itäsatama). Best Terrace with evening sun. Food is excellent and reasonable priced. Fish soup is worth to try and 8,5€ with "home" baked bread not bad price at all. Pulled pork Sandwich was excellent too!

The pizzas are ok, might have expected a bit more of them though. During high season be prepared to wait for the food for some time (we waited around 40min). Drinks will arrive quickly which is nice.
The views on the Terrace are beautiful and the restaurant itself is beautiful.

Nice new cafe next to Hotel Regatta and towards the beach. Fresh interioir and tables outsides gives a central european feeling. I had and a sallad there and it was fresh and tasty. They serve well selected coffee brands and that´s a big plus! Minuspoints for pastries, because most of them were the same frozen products as they serve everywhere. Prices are way too touristic :(

High standard nice, simple and fresh lunch from good incredients. They serve lunch on a plate which is far more better than buffé which is a standard nowadays in Hanko / Finland.
Salad and coffee included in lunch. Salad is maybe too simple, they should fill it more often because the best part of it (tomatoes + cucumber) will picked up so fast that most guest does not get anything else but greens. Salad could also vary abit more.

We came to Hangon portti for strawberry margaritas - not available. Next we wanted to try mohitos - not available. Service was excellent and bartender saved the day - but still missed the favourite drinks.

Hanko Casino hoasted great piquenigue (2nd). One of the best summer festivals (check date for thw event). Only one problem - Casino ran out of Mohito at great summer day. Join us for great event 2016 !Hi, we are sorry running out of mohito. Finnish summer surprised us again. Luckily this time with a beautiful sunny day. Hope our other drinks helped at least a bit and you had a great Piquenique day.
