Early to-mid 1800's German settlers, who helped develop the Hill Country of South Texas, also recreated their beloved "hoffbraus"or "beer gardens" where local townspeople, farmers and ranchers gathered to enjoy hearty meals and brewed beverages in a setting that was naturally casual yet humming with conversations and warm friendly service. What began as a "Hoffbrau" in South Texas truly was the origin of the Texas Hill Country Steakhouse... A tradition that our family has continued since opening Hoffbrau Steaks in 1978. Enjoy yourselves, our Texas hospitality... The great steaks and foods for which we are known. Many thanks, The Fogiel Family

Five Star Food in a gas station. Featured on Food Networks Diners Drive-ins and dive, Paula Deen Magazine, CNN, New York Times and many others.
Yep, restaurant inside a Conoco gas station....not as bad as it sounds. Remodeled inside and outside so it's inviting and unusual. Hadn't been a a few years, so tried it for dinner with friends. Nice inside but not overdone. My only complaint is the noise level can get high as the floors are concrete and all walls are hard surfaces. Families come in with kids. Don't dislike kids, but they add to the noise. Dinner menu is in the $20-$25 range so moderate. You won't find much without some form of pasta which is a no-no for diabetics. I had an Angus Rib Eye. It wasn't the best, but for $20 I wasn't expecting much either. Lots of fat. Friends seem to like their pasta dishes with blackened chicken. I did notice there was a bunch of sauce in the bowl so the chicken had to dog paddle :-) Portions on those were huge. Overall I'd say average to good, and lots of bulk for the buck. I won't beat a path back there due to the noise, adult eating with kids, and the average-good food. Nothing was outstanding. I'll try it for lunch next time just to gain perspective on whether it would be a better lunch place.

I’ve eaten here several times and surprised I had not written a review before now. This is a good solid choice for quality, homemade, authentic Mexican food. Hot, fast and affordable, the owner/chef are passionate about doing it right and it shows. Excellent chips and salsa come with the meal. I like to get the Enchilada Plate and then mix and match the tacos as I want. I especially like the Texican with the smoked BBQ brisket and the chicken comes out tender and flavorful. I’m not sure how she does it, but it is great (the flavor is not boiled away like the other places). No alcohol served. Small parking lot. Attentive, helpful servers.

First time for me to the Capital Grille and it was a wonderful dining experience! We had a drink at the bar to start and their specialty cocktails are delicious! I loved the atmosphere in general of the restaurant because I like it to be rather dark! The service was wonderful and so was the food! We started with the calamari which was yummy and spicy and held its own in comparison to the calamari at Eddie V’s! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and were tender and delicious! We chose to split a wedge salad and it was the right amount of food without being over full. We saved room to split some of their delicious ice cream and a biscotti! It was a great dining experience! I think this will become our go-to for our anniversary dinners!

Met a group of friends this morning for breakfast; the service was great, the menu varied and the food was prepared perfectly. We enjoyed everything from oatmeal to a Spanish themed omelet. I asked for something special and it was prepared exactly as it was ordered without any questions. I highly recommend Bluebonnet for breakfast or lunch.

It’s all served with authentic side dishes of garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread and sweet fried bananas. To complement your meal, select from our award-winning collection of wines or traditional Brazilian bar creations. And don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our decadent à la carte desserts.
We had no idea what to expect, except beef. What a pleasant surprise! For a flat price it is an all-you-can eat experience. The buffet with veggies and some starches we plentiful and kept fresh. The carvers, who were roaming with the various meats, were experienced, friendly, and provided lots of flavorful meat options. We were disappointed with the desert, so don't save room for it. Otherwise, the food was very good and just a fun evening out.

I have ordered from Indian Kitchen for delivery and gone to this restaurant several times now and will continue to go several more times before I complete my several week business trip here in the Ft.Worth/Fossil Creek area. This restaurant has a large variety of veg and non-veg entrees, samosa, sanbar, pakora and other appetizers and a nice dessert bar as well at both the lunch and dinner buffets. For an all-you-can-eat daily lunch buffet, I thought the food would be mediocre. But far from it! The food was fantastic! Extremely tasty, fresh ingredients, varied dishes day to day and just excellent blends of the beautiful spices of India. Shiv is the chef and also the owner of this restaurant, a very nice, accommodating guy as is his staff. When I ask for extra onions and chilies and so forth to accompany my food, he is always super responsive and just so friendly. He even made me a plate of chili paneer, especially forme. I have nothing but great things to say about the Indian Kitchen. It's hard to believe that the buffet is as low in price as it is, especially for the rich quality and freshness of the many varied dishes. All around, 5 stars for this restaurant. Among the best Indian food I've eaten outside of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Rajastan and Delhi in a very very long while! Thank you, Shiv and team!! GREAT FOOD! Keep up the GREAT work!

I've been coming here since they opened in the late 1990's. As far as Vietnamese goes, I think it's the best overall in the metroplex. In fact, it's better than any other Vietnamese I've tried all over the US. The pho is reliably good, not the best, but excellent. The chow fun and rice dishes, as well as grilled pork, are outstanding. The fried egg rolls are the best I've had anywhere - strongly recommend trying them. I bring people in from all over the country to try this place and they are amazed. Cons: it's a dive, but I don't mind that. It's the deal. The service is not proactive, and I didn't know the workers I might be frustrated by it. If you haven't been this is the place to try. Prices are great. 10/10.

Decided to come in based on the rating, and it is definitely worthy.
Large Cuban sandwich had good flavor and didn't go overboard on the mustard (like most Texas restaurants).
Restaurant had a nice vibe with the storefront. Recommending to all my friends that want a great meal.

I only had the brisket sandwich on my current visit & it was very tender & delicious. Good sauce, bun was nicely toasted, pickles & onions were good, fresh & plentiful. The amount of brisket was great & plentiful. Great that they have a drive thru. I have had most of their food over the years & it's always good.
