in Agerskov Kro you got a nice room if you want to stay overnight, there is plenty of room and nicely clean. You are in the heart of Jutland, so you can without driving far see a lot of the southern parts in Jutland! They got excellent food, and nice service! I can highly recommend to stay in old Inns, such as this!

Went here for a Sunday lunch based on the reviews and was not disappointed! Was warmly welcomed by the staff and the restaurant was not busy despite the car park being nearly full. It turned out that the place also accommodate private parties for dining however in rooms separate to the restaurant. The menu had a small selection of traditional Danish lunch dishes, both cold and hot. The dining room was cosy decorated albeit a bit dark.
The service was good and efficient. The food was nice and the portions were huge even for a person like me having a big appetite! I ordered a wiener schnitzel and when served the waiter humorously claimed that if I was able to eat another one, I should just let him know and he would be happy to serve me one more for free! I think he was serious about this but I never found out as full enough after just one.

The sommelier seems to think that every white wine should taste like Gruner Veltliner!! It totally spoilt my wine menu as even a Spanish white wine and an Alsace Riesling tasted like Veltliner which is about the only flavour of white wine I detest! So I ended up with only water in my glass (costing 450 kr.!!)

This is a lovely hidden gem in Haderslev serving some excellent wines and food. I contacted Tappo a couple of months in advance since I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday with 17 friends. Verner at Tappo immediately responded and came up...MoreThank you very much for the nice words. The team behind Tappo is looking forward to the fact that you and your guests had a lovely evening. We locals still calls it "Skallebæk" which was the bakery's original name named after its founder Steen Skallebæk. It's the best bakery bread you can get even though it a little pricey.

This hotel and restaurant is a relatively new project under development, but already now can present charming rooms, pleasant service and good food. The wine list is extensive and most wines are pricy, but one can find good bottles to reasonable cost. Location invites to long walks along the coastline and the beach next to the hotel seems to be fine. Breakfast was satisfying as well. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
