I had the worst experience in this hotel because of the rude receptionist and staff. The room had torn bed sheet, dirty bedroom but the bathroom was most dirty. The price is not that low compared to what they provide. Food is unhygienic and not fresh at all.

Dined here on the Christmas eve during a recent business trip. While the service was prompt and the food quality was good, it was nothing to write home about. Seemed a popular choice with the locals, as atleast 3 sets of patrons were celebrating their birthdays & anniversary here. The decor and the staff could have been a little more brighter and had expected a better presentation of the food, especially for its long standing track record. Tried a range of veg and non veg starters apart from main course, but the dessert left a lot to be desired.
Would try another place during next visit :(

Cracked and broken grocery and sweaty waiters are a big put off.
It has plastic creepers running along the whole walls with food burners just lying around in a row.
The buffet was rather small and insufficient in variety.
Sweaty yet kind waiters served well but hygiene and cleaniness was rather an issue

A franchise of the Original Moti Mahal Deluxe established in 1920 and since then providing all its guests an authentic and extravagant menu of Mughlai cuisine as well as choice of chinese and thai cuisine with 93 years of excellence.Come join us for a wonderful dinner at Moti Mahal...!!
1. They are a franchise of the original moti Mahal of Delhi. 2. Indian cuisine is well prepared. Butter chicken and tandoori fare is recommended. Take a bread basket, comes economical. 3. Service is very slow and staff is inattentive and unresponsive. Prices are steep.

After the whole day of sightseeing the ladies went on shopping spree at the Dindayal Mall. This was the best option we had as we were really exhausted , vehicle already parked.
The 2 Punjabi thali & 1 Veg Biryani was enough for 5 of us.
Nice tasty food & nice service.

Come here for its ambiance. The restaurant is on the ground floor of Hotel Tansen and live ghazal Performances every evening is a perfect way to relax and enjoy your evening with family and friends. The menu has mainly Indian and Chinese dishes and the food is decent. We tried paneer sagwala, tadka dal, dal makhni with rice, roti and raita. The portion size is good, service is quick and prices are reasonable.

Cafe Bliss - well, it has a very different feel to it. To be honest, Gwalior wasn't even ready when Cafe Bliss came. Taste that matches international standards, hygiene that soothes you, and beverages that keep the conversations going. It is one of the finest Cafes that you will ever come across in this part of the world. What to try -
Egg Salad Sandwich
Masala Maggie
Hazelnut Mocha
Smoothies
Masala Fries

Punjabeez Tasty Treasure is located close to railway station. Their preparation is traditional Punjabi style and taste really good. A good place if one wants to get spoilt to taste good Indian food.
