My husband was sick and I didn't feel like cooking so I popped in and got the Royal Reds dinner to take home. Shrimp were great. Potatoes and corn were OK. I came back another day to get some fresh shrimp by the lb. They boiled them up for me. They had lots of other great looking fresh fish there.

Come see us for delicious sandwiches, pizzas, hot dogs, dirty nachos, walking tacos & Blue Bell ice cream (including old fashion homemade milk shakes), and shaved ice. We are not a swanky restaurant or a 5 star place where you have to dress up,there are plenty of those in town but if your looking for a cool place to just hang out & eat or something to go? We are it!! Friendly service with a smile guaranteed!!
We are here on spring break from Norther IL. Our family needed a fast, filling lunch, and we didn’t want anything fancy/sit down service, and this hit the mark! The sandwiches on a hoagie roll are huge, my husband and I could’ve split it and been satisfied. Quality ingredients and very tasty. You aren’t getting anything over the top or gourmet, but it’s waaaaay better than a Subway or fast food. The deli meat was generous, too! My kids enjoyed a walking taco, shave ice and ice cream, all got 2 thumbs up! The location is ideal, parking is tricky if there are over 4 patrons, but the staff/owner were extremely friendly and funny. Grab a quick lunch here and you won’t be disappointed!

Love coming here and picking up a quick dinner. Very reasonably priced and wonderful food! No place to sit and eat but definitely worth it. Now if they would only deliver...

Food that breaks hunger - not the bank.
We learned about this place during our tour of the Swift-Coles Historic home in Bon Secour. Nick Coles was the wonderful man who purchased and saved/preserved the historic Swift home, and the guide mentioned that Nick ran this Diner at one time. Anyway, the great thing about The Diner is you get great food at a reasonable price without the horrible crowds. The ambiance is missing, but if you don't want to wait for an hour or more to get a table, like you do in so many of the popular restaurants in the area, then this place will work for you.

The blackened shrimp was very tasty. Portions were large. The French Fries, Okra, and Hush Puppies were good but have had better. The swamp soup was better than expected and give a uniqueness to the restaurant. Friend had the oysters and gave them an okay rating. For the amount of food served it was a good meal out. The server was very friendly and quick to meet our needs.

I love pork and this restaurant did not disappoint. Most pulled pork is shredded, this place is not shredded but more of pulled large pieces, like eating pork chops. Absolutely delicious, literally best pulled pork I have ever had, and I have ate at dozens on BBQ places. Well done!!!

My wife and I went here because of the TripAdvisor reviews. Because our pizza tastes differ, we each had a small pizza and we shared an Antipasto. You order and pay at the counter and they bring it out when it is done. The Antipasto consisted of pulling some lettuce, tomatoes, and black olives from the little salad bar, adding some meat and cheese and throwing it in a big metal bowl; voila, Antipasto. We both liked our pizza and agreed that it was good but not great.
The place itself, looks like it has seen many a spring break crowd. It could seriously use a makeover, peeling paint, well-worn everything. Looks like it survives on take-out orders and low maintenance costs. We got a kick out of the cashier who had to use the calculator on her cell-phone to figure how much change to give me. We did like the italian salad dressing but we probably won't go back.

Additional parking at Remax of Gulf Shores. Kitchen open until 1 AM every day.
Employees in the restaurant and the people at the bar, all friendly. The building looks like a fishing camp. Cool. We squeezed into a parking by the building. Next time we'll park across the street. I ordered an oyster poboy. Huge oysters, perfectly. Lots of lettuce on my poboy. I took some of it off so I could taste the oysters. If you want to pretend that you're eating healthy, leave the lettuce and call it a seafood salad. My wife enjoyed her roast beef poboy with piles of shredded beef and a nice gravy. Check this place out!

We opened the box and the pizza was beautiful! Meats, cheese, very thinly sliced onion. But I couldn't get out of the box. The pizza was stuck. We used spatulas and forks to eat dinner. No big deal. It tasted great! We'll go back.

Spent our day off wandering the beach at Gulf Shores. We tripped upon this quaint place at the end of our walk. Lucky we did!! Our server Shannon was absolutely the best! He made his suggestions and we took them. I had the grilled whitefish with potatoes and coleslaw. The fish was cooked perfectly and the coleslaw was excellent. We topped off our meal with saltes caramel cheesecake, which was phenomenal!
Overall an enjoyable dining experience well worth the price.
