I was taken to this restaurant by colleagues and was not disappointed. It was a very quiet Wednesday night in January but the service was warm and the food very good.
Simple dishes cooked and served well. We shared ham, mushrooms, calamari and steak, all of which were excellent.
A pleasant surprise!

We went there yesterday afternoon for Sunday lunch. We both had the "menu degustacion". Beginning with 3 tapa size dishes, then monkfish, and a dessert. I have to say everything was so good, we may very well return again next week. The bill was very reasonable, and we agreed the food was as good, or even better than anything we have had in Madrid!

Wanted a quick tasty pizza on our overnight stay in Guadalajara and after checking on TripAdvisor opted for this place. Good choice, Freshly made thin and crispy delicious pizza's (our choice was the "Stromboli") served in a setting that could turn people watching into an art form. Efficient friendly service and good value for the money. My wife and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any friends visiting the city.

Went there with friends to celebrate good news. Food was good but price was very high. It's location is good. However to park in the area is kind of difficult. Restaurant's decoration is nice. Only one waiter thus service was pretty slow. The guy made...MoreMany thanks Armand74 for your time in Tripadvisor and your opinion. We are sorry that you though that our prices were expensive. Kind regards from all the team of La Mafia Guadalajara

"El Buen Vivir" is a tabern placed at Guadalajara downtonw where you can enjoy a quality gastronomy based on "tapas" and "raciones", all of this in an elegant and modern ambient. You can also discover our interesting selection of wines from our cellar. Market cuisine with traditional roots and cosmopolitan inspiration based on a quality product that we cook and serve with passion.
I came here with some friends of mine while studying abroad and ended up coming back 2 more times. The tinto de verano is amazing (similar to sangria) and they have a very impressive wine list ranging from 13-30€. The owner speaks English and he helped me select an amazing bottle of Tempranillo. They also have different types of beers which is hard to find in this city. I recommend the beet and goat cheese tapa and the fried eggplant with honey. For a main course, the salad with chicken, peppers and feta is great as well as the falafel platter. The best part about this restaurant is that every time you order a drink, they bring you free tapas! It is all around a delicious, authentic Spanish restaurant and it was my favorite place during my stay.

Very good food but they charge for it. If you are looking for a bargain, this is not the place but is worth your money.
We ate a salad which was OK but later we try the sushi, very good, and the truffle sirloin which was delicious. We end up cleaning up the plate with bread. .
Mention apart is the waitress. At the beginning she was a bit rough but please, please, listen to her, she knows but you need. She is not delicate but she is good.
By they way, say hi to the chef if you like the food , very down to earth and nice guy, he will appreciate it.
