Gros Islet, on the northern tip of St. Lucia, is a blossoming destination, at once remote and exciting. The best way to explore the shoreline may be Island Riders, where riding veterans and beginners alike can trot along on horseback and chat with the locals. The Jump Up street party, perhaps the most recognized of the town's attractions, is also a must for a taste of Gros Islet's unique blend of food and music.

Ideally located right on Reduit beach, Spinnakers serves good food every day, breakfast, luncheon and dinner. The menu is varied with the lunch menu changing daily. Our food is all freshly made using local produce as much as possible. International and local dished are featured with affordable and competitive pricing. We have an excellent friendly staff who are waiting to meet you!
This is a good option, sitting right along the beach in this area. Our food was good and our service was even better. I enjoyed the Curry with Kingfish and rice, which had great flavor. My 11 year old son enjoyed the vegetable soup and...MoreThanks!

Jacques Waterfront Dining is one of St. Lucia’s most popular restaurants, with a long-standing reputation for consistency in both the quality of the food and the service with which it is delivered. We recently re-opened in a new and exciting waterfront location in the heart of Rodney Bay. This intimate and elegant restaurant right on the edge of the marina is set within the beautiful Gardens of Harmony Suites Hotel, with superb uninterrupted views of the marina and hills beyond. Find us just off the main street in Rodney Bay, first right after the East Caribbean Village condo complex. Chef Jacques is well travelled, having worked in Africa, the Middle East and Far East, and enjoys bringing his various culinary experiences into his cuisine. When asked about his style of cuisine he likes to talk of fusion. French and Caribbean cuisines are melded using his French cooking experience and the wonderful Caribbean flavours that are available to him on a daily basis.
Jacques Waterfront Dining was our favorite restaurant in Rodney Bay area. The ambience was the best, the food was delicious and the service outstanding. The owner, Cathy, was readily available to make sure everything was going smoothly. We ate dinner there four times during our two week stay on St. Lucia and each time we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The lobster specials were excellent as were the jumbo prawns. Desserts were also very good. We recommended the restaurant to people we met and they loved it so much, they went twice.I highly recommend this restaurant. As an aside I was at the supermarket in Rodney Bay and just had my credit card with me and no other identification. The cashier wouldn't allow me to purchase the few items I had without a photo ID. The store manager stepped in and the problem was resolved. That night we went to Jacques for dinner and Cathy, owner, had seen this transpire at the market. She said she was just coming to write a check for me to pay for the items but I had solved the problem. That is the kind of person she is!!

Casual dining, great food in a covered open air restaurant plus a beautiful outdoor garden. Menu includes barbecue, steaks, burgers, salads and fresh fish dishes plus a weekly changing specials menu. Award winning cocktails, beer and cocktail specials, friendly staff and a relaxed dining environment
I thought this was a burger joint but gave it a try for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised. Good selection of fish and seafood as well as steaks and burgers. The tuna was very good. Service was also very good and I particularly liked the draught golden wheat beer. Good atmosphere and smoking (thankfully) not tolerated in the premises.

A landmark in Saint Lucian dining for more than twenty years, Big Chef Steakhouse selects the best quality USA Certified Angus steak cuts and grills them to the satisfaction of local and international guests who depart happy and return often. Ambient amber lighting, comfortable club Seating and a chic piano lounge makes Big Chef perfect for that special celebration, complete with a signature cocktail and martini menu to tempt every tippler's palette. Casual elegance is the dress code, and the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and island stylish.
We saved the best ‘til last! We ate out most nights during our holiday in St Lucia and the Big Chef Steakhouse (please change the name!) was easily the best in the Rodney Bay Area. As described in many posts, the Bruschetta is delightful. CHIC - The Gem of Rodney Bay in Fine Dining, located at the Royal St Lucia Resort and Spa is a fine dining restaurant offering a sophisticated blend of French and International Cuisine in air conditioned or open air ambiance. Guests of the CHIC are treated to a totally unique and memorable dining experience.
This is a very nice fine dining restaurant, but its just doesn't seem to fit with the clientele. The service provided is superior by a maitre d' who is dressed and polished to perfection. You are greeted by the maite d' and taken to a separate room to sip on some champagne and nibble on some bread sticks. He hands you a menu and makes a recommendation. We chose Lionfish which was very good and recommended a nice white wine from Chile. For us the dinner was included in our All inclusive package at the Royal St Lucia. I am glad that I got to experience this type of service which caters more to an elite guest. However, if I was paying for the meal, I would have preferred to dine at Buzz or the Jazz club across the street for less cost and good service that's less intimidating

The Cliff at Cap Restaurant was famously hailed by The New York Times and is already one of the most highly sought after tables on the island. Located on the northwest coast in one of the Caribbean's most dramatic settings overlooking the surging Caribbean Sea. The kitchen at The Cliff at Cap is overseen by Welsh born Executive Chef Craig Jones, a St Lucian Chef of the Year recipient, who serves an inspired French West Indian contemporary menu. His nouveau French West Indian cuisine elegantly presents the bounty of St Lucia's fresh local farm produce and seafood readily sourced on this tropical island. The Cliff at Cap offers unobstructed views towards Martinique to the north and Pigeon Island to the West, and surrounded by the magnificent Caribbean sea, with sunsets to die for. The restaurant is open to non residents from breakfast to dinner with a dress code of smart casual.
We had a wonderful experience. The evening started with a beautiful sunset and wine/cocktails. Next we spent 90 minutes in the wine cellar with Robinson, an amazing wine sommelier. The wines, the atmosphere, the cheeses and the discussion about the wines made the evening very special. Lastly we ended the evening with a delicious dinner and wine/cocktails. The service was wonderful and it is only 5 minutes from Sandals Grande.

Considered one of the finest Caribbean restaurants in St. Lucia, Windsong Restaurant at Calabash Cove offers a mouth-watering mix of international cuisine and local fare. Much of the menu is inspired by Asian cuisine and the team of chefs strive to use only local, fresh ingredients in each and every dish. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is also the perfect place to pop in for a glass of wine and appetizer while taking in the breathtaking views. Windsong offers its patrons stunning, unobstructed views of the mesmerizing Caribbean Sea and is also the perfect place to take in one of those famous sunsets.
From the beautiful view on arrival to what we agreed was the best food during our two week holiday, the Windsong restaurant as better than we had expected.
The service was extra friendly, attentive and nicely relaxed too. The much referred to dress code issues weren't apparent either. Just don't come too scruffy and you'll be fine.

We went there on a Friday without a reservation, but they were able to squeeze us in anyway. The restaurant is small, but very charming and has a very local vibe to it. It´s also easy to tell that it´s a very popular restaurant. They didn´t have a regular menu at the time we were there (not sure if this is how they always do it), but the waitress will ask you what protein you´d like (you can choose between fish, shrimps and different varieties of meat), and when it´s ready on the grill you will be called out to the grilling chef and get to choose your sides as some kind of buffet.
The food was delicious, but it really didn´t justify the time we had to wait to get it. From the time the waitress took our order we had to wait for 1,5 hours (!!) until our food was ready on the grill. The other guests at the restaurant had to wait just as long. When we finally got our food, we were so hungry that we almost weren´t hungry anymore. Everything goes quite slow on St. Lucia (they call it "island time"), but it really shouldn´t be necessary to leave the guests waiting for 1,5 hours. Maybe they should consider having more than one grilling chef at a restaurant where all the food is being grilled.
If you´re gluten free you should order a meal that is naturally gluten free. I had the grilled shrimps and most of the sides and did not react to it, even though I'm very sensitive.

Wingz -N- Tingz; Friendly service, great wingz, great seafood, reasonably priced. "Come in and taste the difference"
The wings were ok. I thought they were small, but the flavor was pretty good. So, it was not a waste, but I can get twice the wings that are twice the size for the same cost around home. The staff was great, nice people, but the food was not remarkable and there is no view or great Seating. On the whole, nothing wrong, but you can do better. Just don't get wings for a whole week on vacation, you'll live.
