Good meats and veggies, great homemade rolls and cornbread and must eat pies. The chicken fried steak is the best ever- if you are a fan of this dish, don't order anything else. Can be crowded, parking can be tight. Service is friendly but was a little slow on the crowded day I was there. AND be forewarned, they don't take credit cards! Lots of locals eat here, worth a stop if you have cash. Solid breakfast too.

I go through Greenbrier a few times every month on business and never noticed this place until last week. My wife and I were returning home passing through and decided to stop at this place for frozen yogurt. It’s one of those places where you get your yogurt and then go through the toppings adding what you want and then weigh out to pay. The yogurt was very good, flavorful, and tasted fresh. We both got strawberry but there were many choices. The girl there helped us so that was nice. Not much business there in the early afternoon so that may be the time to stop. The girl said that the place filled up after school and at night. We will definitely stop again.

Didn't look like much from the outside but the Pizza was really good. They offer a buffet but we ordered a pizza from menu. Service was excellent.

This is a small chain ice cream store that shares spaces with a truck stop/gas station. Easy in and out. Lots of parking. Great and fast place to run in for a nice treat for yourself or the kids, we found they had the basic flavors plus all the popular ones as well as a few kiddie colors and newer items. Ice cream was fresh. Place was clean. Seating limited but available

We read reviews on this restaurant however when we attempted to try it out it was closed. Looked like it had been closed for a while. I dont know if they were permanently closed or what but we went during their listed hours of business.

Was attending a reenactment event near by in Woolly Hollow state park ( nice Place!!!)
A fellow reenactor recommend the joint....(" ..best rib eye around..") so we set out ..not really thinking we would find it etc..BUT we drove straight past it...doubled back and gave ita shot...
Very unassuming atmosphere...semi- ranch style.....it was late afternoon...two tables occupied
Staff was fabulous, friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there....all under 30 for sure..
We did not order the rib eye..but we did get the hamburger steak special.boy was it special...it tasted like a rib eye for sure...charcoal grilled with a great smoke flavor!
Did I mention the pie.....ohhhhh their coconut cream pie is to die for!
So if you want the best hamburger steak in central Arkansas go to ropers...( try the rib eye tooo) and don't forget the pie.....you will be roped in for ever!
Great place!

If you have never tried s Shipley do not you really should. The do nuts are very similar to a Krispy Kreme do nut nut they have a little more substance, more dough so you don't feel like you are biting into quite so much air. They have a class all on their own and are really worth trying. I prefer the plain old glazed but family has had the meat pastries and loved them as well

Have ordered from here numerous times and it has always been good. This place is for take-out or delivery only. Ordering from their web site is easy (look under the tab "Deals" for their specials) & the food is always ready when promised.
