Anyone with an interest in history and a love of the great outdoors will enjoy a getaway to Great Falls. Steeped in the traditions of the Old West and chock-full of historic buildings and important landmarks, the city itself is a living museum. But there are also real museums to explore. Check out the Lewis & Clark National Trail Interpretive Center which has interactive exhibits and videos that help you retrace the steps of the famous explorers. The C.M. Russell Museum Complex displays the work of the "Cowboy Artist" Charlie Russell. Families should stop at the Children's Museum of Montana for hours of entertainment. Or walk into the past of the Northern Plains at First People’s Buffalo Jump, where Native Americans used to stampede buffalo over cliffs. Visitors can also take advantage of a wide array of outdoor recreation opportunities. With a fantastic view of the Missouri River, the 24-mile River's Edge Trail is great for walking, biking, in-line skating or jogging. Bird watchers will enjoy the Benton Lake Wildlife Refuge, and hiking, biking and camping opportunities in nearby mountain ranges offer even more outdoor fun.

We give our customers the best burger experience they could get - from first bite to last. That's why we grind our beef several times a day and serve it up fresh, never frozen. The best part? Your beef comes from the same animal. Not bits and pieces mushed together - we grind from one cut of beef at a time - we never mix or add to our meat. We top it all off with quality products and bread baked daily for us at locally-owned Great Harvest Bread! Our hand-cut fries and other items like black bean burgers, soups, sauces are also house-made.
Awesome hamburgers...many varieties to choose from. The burger is fresh, as are the French fries. You never leave hungry & I would recommend bringing some of the delicoious pie home. Our favorite was cookie dough. Wait staff were helpful, courteous & service was fast. If...MoreThank you! We are thrilled you enjoyed your housemade pies, fries and in house ground burger!!! It has been a long time since I visited Mackenzie River Pizza. Living in Utah now, I look forward to my returns home to Montana and the dining options these visits afford. We came in to celebrate a birthday, and had a great time. The Lodgepoles were delicious and a great way to start off our meal. I had the Stockman Pizza which was phenomenal. The service was good, and I look forward to returning when I next visit Great Falls!

The Sip 'n Dip is the home of the Montana Mermaids and Piano Pat. A close drive to Glacier National Park, the Sip 'n Dip Lounge is part of the O'Haire Motor Inn. We're unique and nothing like you've ever experienced before. Stop in for a bite to eat, watch the mermaids, listen to Pat, stay in one of our comfy rooms. We don't care what you do while you're here, just that you're here. There's something in the water at the Sip 'n Dip!
You must make this a place to stop and have a drink while in Great Falls. It is done in a south seas motif from the 50's/60's. In addition behind the bar are large windows which show are below the water level of the pool....MoreThank you for coming in! We appreciate it. Just to clarify though, Piano Pat plays Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Travel safe and please come see us again!

Excellent burger with a delicious sauce and toppings. I also got some delicious chips with the hacienda salasa. The chips and salasa were quickly demolished and washed down with one of their craft beers on tap. The service was also excellent! The bartender/waitress was super cool and helpful. I will be back soon.

Located in the oldest commercial building in the heart of Downtown Great Falls, The Celtic Cowboy Pub and Restaurant brings outstanding food, drink and Live music to a wide variety of patrons. Utilizing over 10,000 square feet of this 1890 livery stable, The Celtic Cowboy is not just a Pub, it hosts the Darkhorse Wine Snug, a private wine bar, the Darkhorse Hall meeting and banquet space and the Pub itself, featuring over 30 beers on tap, along with full compliment of liquor and fine wine list. The Celtic Cowboy, Eat, Drink and be Irish!
I had their "signature" fish and chips...but it was so greasy and the fries were soggy....disappointing. However, the live blue grass music was a wonderful surprise.

Every time we come through town we stop at Wheat Montana.
As you may expect for a restaurant associated with a wheat company, the breads and baked goods are quite good - and nicely priced.
Their menu ranges from salads to sandwiches - along with breakfast rolls, cinnamon rolls and cookies.
There is a small store selling variety of Wheat Montana bread, flour, oats as well as shirts, salt and pepper shakers, mugs, etc.

Located in the O'Haire Motor Inn, our restaurant is as popular with our local residents as it is with our hotel guests. Wether it's catching a cup of coffee and a snack with your friends, a business lunch, or family dinner - you can do it here! We also cater!
Excellent service and food. There were about 15 of us ladies meeting for a monthly luncheon, some only had a hour for lunch, the service was fast efficient, pleasant and the food portions were huge. A must .... for any one. You won't regret going out to eat if you go there! Very clean both eating area and restrooms.
