To all our valuable customers big D's Conch Spot will be closed as of August 1st until the first week in October sorry for any inconvenience caused.
If you love seafood, water views and terrific service: this is your new place!
We are gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters. We were all extremely happy with options and special requests were sincerely honored (if you’re a celiac sufferer you know what I mean).
Aaron, our server/bartender, was the best. Not only does he watch March Madness games, he knows how to make a great margarita and he is happy to make extra trips to the chef to please his guests.
The menu is seafood heavy, and fried/grilled/scorched options exist.
On our night here it looked like the crowd was 50/50 locals and tourists. The music was a top tier playlist with Tupac in the majority, which pleased the College kids but was at a volume you could easily talk over.
We ate the best conch fritters ever, grouper, all the sides on the menu and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.
Indoor (screened) and outdoor dining overlooking the water. Colorful decor, casual and fun. Family friendly. Go! You won’t regret it.

If you get a chance to drive down to the south side of the island, be sure to drop into Santana’s. This is an all-female staff of the loveliest Bahamian ladies I have ever met. We had the cracked conch and the lobster and it was so very delicious. The view from the deck is absurdly beautiful. Had a goombay smash with my meal with 3 types of rum... Yummy.
Bring cash- no CC machine but worth every penny!

We arrived on Saturday to join a sailboat and were anchored in George Town. Sailed over on Sunday for the pig roast, but had researched and sent one person over by water taxi to get tickets as we had heard that it sells out. The beer was cold and beverages were generous. The pig roast was delicious and the atmosphere was family/beach bar. We did get to see the sting rays too. Unfortunately, the conch salad was not available, but we would definitely return to try it.

Celebrate the bold flavors and traditions of the Bahamas poolside at The Palapa Grill where fresh, local seafood is complemented by the ocean air and tropical outdoor setting. From Caribbean jerk-style seafood to Bahamian barbeque, we offer a real taste of the Islands for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are required for dinner.
We took our daughter here for our last night on the island and for her 30 th birthday. The restaurant is part of The Grand Isle Resort and it’s situated around the pool. It was excessively windy the night we went so cloudy plastic walls were down. My husband and I both ordered grouper, thinking “ it’s locally fished, it gotta be good” I am certain we received two different types of fish. Mine was tough and fishy tasting, his was just okay. The lobster Mac and cheese was good. They had no mint to make a Mojito and no candles to put on the birthday dessert and our waitress seemed annoyed at being there. We had a $500.00 bill for 6 of us and don’t feel it was worth the cost. It definitely has potential, but they’ve got some work to do.

Take in the Shoreline's relaxed lifestyle at this fantastic beachfront eatery, kick back on the beach, take in the incredible island scenery, and revel in the moment. While you do, make sure to sample terrific seafood and burger entrees. Fish tacos is always popular, and coconut curry shrimp. You"ll also find local lobster, crack conch and more. Check out the bar for a wonderful selection. This is a perfect place to dine and hang out for hours.
Had dinner this evening with our family of 7 adults and 7 children's to Shoreline. First of all, this is an amazing setting for families. The children can run around on the beach while the adults enjoy a before dinner cocktail or glass of wine....MoreHello Smith family, Thank you so much for your visit and great comments. It was our pleasure serving everyone. We look forward to your return visit to Exuma and Shoreline. Happy New year! Again thank you Violet

Beautiful view. Great drinks and food really good. Took a boat from George Town and stumbled upon this dive. If you go by car It is directly across from the small swimming pigs and they will drive you over by boat to see them for $10...so if you don’t do a tour of any sort just eat here and go see the pigs for sure.

This the only place in Exuma you’ll get a decent coffee and bagels with cream cheese. A lot of the foreigners get their breakfast here. The hotel across the road will be opening a coffee shop soon that will be competition for this place.
There’s like 4 small tables that seats 2 and a big square table that’s more communal style Seating.

A beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant on the beach (you'll want outdoor seating). We went for the special on a taco Tuesday. I've never had fish tacos as good as theres!!!! We ate there twice, and on a weekend evening they had a dj. Great alcoholic drinks as well.

Came to this restaurant whilst visiting Exuma after Reading the reviews and wasn't disappointed. Bit of a walk from central George Town (about 15mins), but very worth it.
My only negative is that this restaurant is obviously catering for the holidaymakers, and felt a bit like the cliche restaurant for the tourists. It occupies the same space as a number of other more slapdash bar and grill type places that my boyfriends confirms were just as delicious (jerk chicken/coconut shrimp etc), but half the price.

This restaurant is an island gem. Great food and service and the view is outstanding!
Ask for Samantha as your server she is attentive and friendly.
The seafood nachos, jerk chicken wings, lobster poppers and grouper fingers are all excellent when paired with a Kalik Light Beer or Sands Pink Raddler.
We were there on a Wednesday,Thursday and Friday for lunch around 12:30 pm is a great time. You will not be disappointed.
