During our stay at the nearby Inn at Sweetwater Farm, at the recommendation of the inn's hosts, we indulged in homemade ice cream at SoCo Creamery. YUM!! Everyone in our group found flavors to love - including our one dairy-free eater, who loved the mango sorbet and dairy-free Dirty Chocolate ice cream.

We came here upon a recommendation of a friend and we're glad we did. The salads we started with were huge, even though they were smalls. They were so tasty.
Our two pizzas were great too. Our waitress was great...friendly, efficient and nicely wrapped up all of our leftovers.
Recommend.

They have such delicious fresh doughnuts that are baked every morning! They have a variety to choose from, including light yeast doughnuts or cake doughnuts! Besides doughnuts they have choices of breads for breakfast and breakfast sandwiches! Everything always so good! The owners are very friendly!

We stopped with friends after an afternoon hiking and found hospitable service with delicious coffee (kudos for both the coffee and the barista), light snacks like excellent fish tacos, chili, burger.

A chef owned destination restaurant featuring local ingrdient driven cuisine. Award winning wine list, full bar, outdoor seating, special events, and large parties can be accomodated. Menu features homemade pasta, raw oysters, extensive native wild fish dishes, house smoked salmon, and in-house pastry chef. The restaurant is owned by Berkshire Native Chef Adam Zieminski and was established in 2006. In it's new location there multiple dining rooms and an open kitchen. We suggest reservations for both brunch and dinner.
With an upscale vibe reminiscent of some NYC fine restaurants, Cafe
Adam is a true find for diners in search of top-notch delicious meals and a first class quality dining experience. From the freshly baked bread (which, oddly, you must request to obtain) through delicious crispy salad, to outstanding entrees,
Cafe Adam is sure to please the most particular palate. I had the pan seared sea bass with a unique zucchini sauce and ultra Sweet tomatoes; my wife had a moist and flavorful free range chicken with
vegetables. Service was prompt and friendly. A bit pricey...dinner for two with no alcohol, dessert or coffee was approx. $90 ( incl. tip), but worth it! Highly recommended.

Wow, wow, WOW! Better than promised. The fourth of a small French pastry shop chain has opened in downtown Northampton. From all appearances, they've already hit their stride. People are pouring in, and for good reason. THE PASTRIES!!! Everything we've tried has been beyond excellent. I can't wait to dive in to the Chocolate-Raspberry Christmas Yule Log we have pre-ordered for our at-home family Christmas dinner.
Coffee beverages have all been excellent. If you're in a hurry for that to-go hot beverage, well, go elsewhere; these folks take their time and do it right. There's a nice breakfast, lunch, and snack menu, with everything made from scratch on premises.
The bar for downtown Northampton food and beverage has been raised considerably. Highly recommended.

Est in 2003, Bizalion's Cafe and Market has European olive oil, cheese, charcuterie, baguettes, local salads, soup du jour, tartes, espresso drinks, wine & beer. Helen and Jean-François Bizalion also import & wholesale extra virgin olive oil from mediterranean. Their café sits within the store.
This deli has excellent, hand-made to order, French-style sandwiches for lunch. Interesting and good selection of drinks, and even truffle flavored chips ( a first for me). Friendly and efficient staff.

My husband and I were looking for something different to eat for dinner and found Nija's online with excellent reviews. The restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel. Greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant and seated at a table of our choice, which was outside. Drinks ordered were served by the owner, Naji. We started with an appetizer of the day special, zaatar. Warmed pita like bread with a special spice and sesame seeds. Very tasty. Entrees come with a choice of any two starch, veggie or salad. I ordered the chicken cabob with grilled veggies and the house salad (served with an olive and lemon dressing). My husband ordered the lamb shawarma with the same veggies and salad. Both were excellent. Service was very good, friendly and prompt. The owner comes out and talks with every table, a thoughtful and caring proprietor. Two thumbs up.

Need I say more? A quaint shop with oodles of goodies, chocolate and otherwise, including some old fashioned goodies reminiscent of childhood years, like orange slices. Yummy.

We had a great birthday dinner. We ordered small plates: new potatoes/ razor clams w fennel and brussel sprouts in iberian ham lard. All well done. The best was the grilled shishito peppers. Small plate menu could have more choices. Service frayed as things got busy. On the whole its definitely a fun dinner experience.
