This is a review on Happy Hour at Hawks. We come here for HH to enjoy the small plates and wines. Fresh Pea, Burchetta with Ricotta Cheese, Tempura Asparagus; Caesar Salad and sharing the burger & fries all made for a very enjoyable dinner at Hawks during Happy Hour on a recent visit. Wines by the glass at $ 6 are reasonable but there is limited selection during HH. I would go for the red blend if you are into reds. There is an extensive wine list too if you want to try something else. With about 6-8 seats at the bar and 4-5 small tables- this is a small area - so you will need to come early if you want to sit. Overall experience and service was excellent. IWish there were more restaurants of this quality in the Roseville area!
Dinner Review. Hawks is a nice dinning establishment in Granite Bay with high quality service and attention to detail. Recently celebrated my wife's B-day here. We tried the Hamachi appetizer, Caesar Salad, Slow roasted short ribs, and Halibut. Nice citrus sauce worked well with the Hamachi - although the portion was too small to share. Caesar salad was great, fresh with a touch of anchovy in the creamy cheese dressing- very fresh salad. The Halibut was well prepared - but a small portion for the price. The short rib was a large portion pulled form the bone and pressed together in a generation serving. The flavor was rich - but a little too oily for my taste. Very nice, pleasant dinner experience with serval good wines available by the glass. I wish there were more fish and pasta selections, and a good duck dish on the menu would bring me back .

If this drive-through did not have such hot coffee and it were not so expensive, it would be great. The service is absolutely wonderful, but the coffee is very, very hot and expensive.

If you don't have a craving for cake, you will once you walk into this wonderful shop. My wife wanted coffee and the sign said they had it so we stopped in. The chocolate cake aroma that first hit our sense was dynamite. They had three different types of coffee beans. They custom-blended it, ground it, and made her a cup very quickly and were very nice. I spotted some heart-shaped brownie with frosting and m&m's and soon we were in possession of what turned out to be a chocolate miracle. We left with a blissful smile on our faces.

Casual country Italian comfort food/great wine list and wonderful wine prices
Stopped in for dinner with a business client. Happy with the selection of appetizers, wines, and entrees. Everything was very good. The service was good. The only thing missing was ambience and emotion. I had hoped the restaurant would be darker and more intimate than it was. Overall a good experience.

We live in the area so we go to Dominick's quite often. The bar area, although very small, is a lively spot where locals hang out waiting for a table. It's a noisy room when it's full, always busy especially on weekends. The food is consistently very good, our favorites are the lasagna or sometimes the spaghetti & meatballs. The deli under the same ownership is next door, they make good sandwiches and salads. Worth a special trip just for the warm atmosphere, although some might not like the closeness of the tables in a relatively small room.

While driving through Granite Bay, we wanted to find a good fast food type restaurant with good reviews so we turned to Trip Advisor. The Habit Burger Grill had high marks. Very reasonably priced and both the burger and chicken sandwich were excellent. We loved the fact that the meat was grilled giving it a delicious flavor. We also liked that the lady taking our orders went over everything that was on each sandwich so we wouldn't get something we didn't like. Inside the grill has an industrial type look but was clean with lots of seating both inside and out. The only drawback would be that outside seating is right next to a busy intersection so it can get pretty noisy. Other than that, a great experience.

Stopped here after a long and grueling bike ride. Unfortunately missed the lunch cutoff of 3pm.
However you can still get a Caesar salad (with chicken), a mini pot pie, or a mushroom bruschetta in between lunch and dinner.
I opted for the Caesar salad with chicken which I had to initially send back due to lack of more than two tiny pieces of chicken. Having edited 15 minutes to get the salad I had to edit another 10 to have them remake it. Why they had to remake it rather than add chicken I'll never know. But it was very good.
Nice wines and wines by the glass -- I had a Truchard Chardonnay, nicely chilled and buttery!
Would love to come back when I can get a full meal. Though service both in time to get waited on, time to receive food and general attitude of the staff leaves me wondering if it's gonna be a great experience or not. Will find out another day.
Outdoor patio seating looked inviting and on a hot day I think would be very pleasant outdoors.

This place is outstanding. Although there is a limited menu, anyone should be able to find something suitable. I chose a smoked pastrami sandwich on ciabatta. It was the best pastrami sandwich I have ever had.
I sat on the patio, which was very comfortable and quaint. The staff I came into contact with were personable and helpful. I would characterize this place as a good place to eat and chat in comfortable surroundings. The food and atmosphere gave this place an upscale feel, yet the prices were acceptable.
Along with a limited menu, there is limited parking. I could not find a place so I went across Folsom-Auburn and parked on a side street. It was only upon my return that I saw a sign that indicated that restaurant parking is not allowed on that street. However, I don't believe it is a legal requirement. The sign was probably placed by a frustrated restaurant neighbor.

Since 1987, Original Pete's Restaurants have been serving great food to the greater Sacramento area. In 2006, we partnered with Firestone Walker Brewery and created our handcrafted brews and we opened Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse. While our house beers are no longer available, we have landed some serious craft beers like Firestone Walker's "805." Our award-winning pizza is still hand tossed and our dough is still made fresh daily. Our menu has grown to include mouthwatering pastas, oven-baked sandwiches, fresh salads and our 1/2 pound all-natural beef hamburgers. All of our food is complimented by an extensive beer and wine list which is why we have become your family's favorite restaurant. We have 11 locations serving our award winning pizza with more to come!
Overall, Pete's Restaurant is a good place to eat. The atmosphere is casual and fun-indoor and outdoor dining. They have a large menu, so you can get anything from a salad, to pizza to steak, or even a sandwich. Prices area fair.
