We had lunch at this well recommended restaurant. I had the lasagna my wife had the spaghetti and meatball sub combo. These folks have a excellent red Sauce. The sub/spaghetti combo was terrific and the lasagna had PERFECTlLY done noodles and red sauce. Bread was crusty and flavorful.

Biggby is a Michigan coffee house, which has grown fabulously since the mid-2000s. It has a nice, compact style that you can't mistake for any other. Service varies among them, however.
This Biggby has friendly, small-town service. You have to be sure you can find it when you get off the freeway, though.
The Biggby card is pretty good for frequent sippers, and the daily questions are entertainingly quirky. Coffee is better than average, but not exquisite, and not bad either.

We had eaten dinner and were strolling through town when we noticed a gathering by what looked like a drive-in. With a name like Lick-its Split, we had to try it! We saw lots of dipped cones, some ice cream sundaes, but we decided to try a milkshake and WOW! One of the best I've tried.
Tip: even if it looks crowded (and the crowds do come and go), then stick it out because the staff are very fast at preparing and serving.

A co-worker brought bagels in from here and they were so good so my husband and I decided to stop by! They gave different specials every day so check their facebook to find out what they might have. We went on a Saturday and they had about 15 different kinds of bagels including bacon cheddar, dill pickle, and jalapeño cheese. They were all very good. We also tried the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites, chocolate chunk cookie, elephant ear, and chocolate croissant. They were all very good, not disappointed with any of them! I highly recommend this bakery. You can tell the owners really care and are passionate about what they do.

This restaurant had many options, mostly breakfast but also lunch and a few dinner entries. They even had a fruit omelette which I didn't try but was tempted. Service was good and the food was good. The place is very popular and we had to wait but it was worth it!

Have had lots better donuts at dunkin donuts or Krispy kreme. Tried the Nutella new donut but wasn't overly impressed. Donuts not that great. Ordered do it holes and they gave us wrong ones but we're down road. Raspberry filled powdered sugar donut holes pretty good though. Cappuccino average.

These pasties are as good as my great-grandmother's, who originated in Copper Harbor. I wish they were still in Grand Ledge, as their knew location makes it harder for me.
Also, their cakes are wonderful! I've bought several special occasion cakes, for weddings and birthdays, and they all looked, and tasted, wonderful!

We visited this bakery just to show the location to my wife, While there we purchased a bacon cheese scone. It was delicious. Of course me being a cheap I didn't buy other goodies. However mI may just open the wallet the next visit an purchase one of their pecan rolls.

Crossroads BBQ is located in downtown Grand Ledge on South Bridge Street. We pride ourselves on our fresh, smoked meats that are freshly prepared each and every day. Our best seller is our savory brisket. A meal would not be complete without our delicious sides. Try our white cheddar mac and cheese or our creamy coleslaw. Stop in early before we sell out! We work every day to make slow smoked BBQ that is done right, always.
Hubby heard about this place while working in GL. We tried once before to go, but they close at 8!! Their closing time is about the only thing I don’t like about this place. We tried a sampler plate for two and the portions were about spot on. The brisket is so good!! But I think I like the roasted chicken best! Hubby enjoyed the pork, which is good. The crack bacon wasn’t too bad. I wasn’t keen on the loaded potato salad, too thick. But hubby liked it. Also tried the Mac n cheese, which was even better the next day! Tater tots were seasoned, crispy and perfect. Cannot go wrong with either pork or chicken sliders. I tried the sausage but left that for the hubby. Its neat that you’re encouraged to grab a selection of sauce bottles for a basket then take to your table. We tried Bourbon, White and sweet, all were good. Do NOT expect any kind of fresh fruit or veggies here! Atmosphere is kinda cool, a few large picnic tables to go with regular booths and tables.
