Welcoming, tolerant Gran Canaria offers a little something for everyone. Families flock to the water parks and beaches of Puerto Rico. Those seeking peaceful escape scamper to Mogan's quiet fishing villages. Gay visitors crowd the bars, restaurants and beaches of Playa del Ingles. Urban attractions are on offer in Las Palmas. Three highways open up the island for those with a rental car or a bus schedule. Prime sites to visit include Iglesia de San Juan Bautista de Arucas and Palmalitos zoo park.

Visited Anno Domini twice while we were in San Agustin. First to celebrate Valentines night, and the second for our last night before flying home.
Upmarket restaurant, despite it's location in a shopping mall. Good service, good food, and good wine. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and we were quite satisfied. I particularly enjoyed the stroganoff.
Would repeat if we were back in San Agustin.

Our restaurant opens again on the 1st of October 2017. Thank you.
Déjate llevar is a place like no other. Situated in the picturesque village of Tejeda high up in the Mountains, it is an oasis of excellent and original food, as well as rare and delicious wines.
Everything we tried at Déjate llevar during our two visits left us yearning for more, but the top three creations that Fernando and Nikos prepared for us were: (1) the surprising explosion of flavours in the salad which is the restaurant’s special - Déjate llevar; (2) an authentic Greek moussaka which was incredibly creamy and full of flavour; (3) black rice seafood risotto. The menu changes every day, so on a different occasion visitors may be surprised by a new mixture of flavours, and the restaurant is only open for dinner, but is definitely worth visiting for a delicious meal.
In addition to the excellent food, Nikos recommended us fantastic white wines on both of our visits, entertained us with stories and, together with Fernando, created a fantastic atmosphere, where one really feels welcome and like part of the family.
This is a place for 5*+!

6 firiends had a great evning with excellent food and wine. Native italian all the way. Interesting winelist and very good recommendations from the chef. If you enjoy italian food, wine and atmosphere just visit this restaurant located in the center of Mogan. Thumbs up and a really big smile.

We are a tapas restaurant bar ideally located within the heart of the Yumbo Centre in Playa del Inglés (Gran Canaria) and aim to offer an imaginative mix of quality Spanish and international tapas and a balanced selection of Spanish wines at competitive prices. We look forward to seeing you!
Came here on our last holiday having been sent on a recommendation and booked twice for this holiday. Tucked away amongst large restaurants this small tapas restaurant is once again high in service with some great tapas dishes and specials daily. A definite visit if in the area but booking is wise. Keep up the good work !!

We offer top Canarian cuisine with oriental touches and seasonal products. Our restaurant is a small, fresh and modern place with a vibrant changing seasonal menu paying great attention to details. We also highlight our great balanced wine list which includes representation of all designations of origin Spanish.
We had a reservation but weren’t really noticed when we arrived and felt a bit lost for a while. But after we were guided to our table, we really liked the atmosphere and overall surroundings.
First we ordered drinks, a versions of mojito and caipirinha. Both, but especially the caipirinha, were really too sweet to enjoy, we could not finish them during the whole stay. We had to leave them half full at the table when we left.
For food, we were recommended to order three courses for two, which we did. Our order contained a ceviche, strawberry salad and lamb tacos.
Ceviche was good and nicely balanced, though nothing special to make it stand out. The salad had really nice strawberries, especially considering the season, but it was over-sweet with palm syrup. It was not an accident, but seemingly meant to be. When we mentioned it, we got explanations instead of consent. Tacos were very plain and lacked any twist the menu promised to make them special. The three course weren’t very much for a two, so if you’re hungry, we’d advice you to consider more. We also ordered some water, which we never got.
Being quite disappointed to so many things we did not dare to try the dessert, but settled for a coffee, which was average.
So we left with mixed feelings and even a bit hungry. It felt like a good try but no success. For the price you really should get something better. Probably we won’t go back and won’t recommend this to our friends. Sorry.

This place is temporarily closed for vacations - from April 1st 2018 to May 20th 2018.
We visited this place after having it recommended by a friend, and weren't disappointed! It's only a small restaurant, but luckily for us it wasn't too busy as it was still relatively early when we went. The staff were friendly and attentive and looked after...More...you are brilliant !! ,grazie.

Saturday lunchtime visit with partner and family friend who lives locally and made the recommendation.
Partner had steak in a peppercorn sauce cooked exactly to her preference, friend had fish on skewers, again perfect whilst I had days special of monkfish perfect.
Snr Antonio was an attentive and a good host.
We were a little late, a Scandanavian party came after us but there was no rush to meet the afternoon closing time.

A restaurant with a modern Mediterranean cuisine, changing menu every seasons. Unfortunately NOT adapted to Young kids or families with strollers. Located in the right side of Yumbo center (above La Bulle bar or Under Esprit boutique)
Fantastic service and dishes created with an extra effort. The food has often
a twist, like the beef cheeks that has been baked for hours. Some might find the menu rustic but the quality overall very high and not what you might expect at jumbo center.
The restaurant decor is simple and clean. A must go-place if you are a foodie!

A nice place to have a great breakfast, eat a good burger, or a fresh salad! Bon Appétit ! We are located just in front of the Rey Carlos hotel, down the stairs. (Please note that we don't do Vegan food)

The first Ethiopian restaurant of all the Canary Islands. Spicy, exotic, with a lot of vegan options. The only restaurant on GC with Inedit draft beer. Something different on Gran Canaria.
The styling of the restaurant, the helpful guide to how to eat the food (with your fingers using the flat bread to pick things up) and the quirky washing of your hands at the table all helped to give a unique feel to this restaurant.
The staff were genuine and helpful guiding us on the spiciness of the dishes.
We had the sharing platter of starters and were not disappointed, it was a great way to try all the tasty pasty like delicacies. Unfortunately the goat was unavailable but the chicken dish and beef stew were delicious. Both were VERY generous portions being served with some salad, vegetables and lentils. Unfortunately after all the lovely food there was no room to try the Deserts which sounded great.
