My husband and I recently dined here. The dining room is very cozy. The wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly. My husband ordered the carrot ginger soup which was very flavorful. For the main entree he got the Tuscan Chicken which was done well and a large portion. I ordered the coconut shrimp and salad with goat cheese, apples, pears and candied nuts. Coconut shrimp was delicious. I didn't love my salad but I'm not sure if that's the salad's fault or I just wasn't quite in the mood for that salad. I would definitely dine here again though.

This is a nice simple ice cream stand located right next to the Heritage Trail in Goshen.
Ample parking right there but it can be crowded in the middle of the summer especially on a hot night. They are fast, efficient, and friendly and the ice cream is yummy.

We stopped at the original location ... it's now in the Gulf station! Sue, whose name tag said shift leader was WONDERFUL! She automatically added the senior discount (yes, we're over 50+!) and told us we deserved it! The Boston Creme croissant donut was actually delicious! I'd never had one at DD and was very pleasantly surprised!

This a a small store with a great surprises inside. They have a great selection of fresh home made meats, cold cuts and pierogies and much more..yes, all homemade!
6 of us stopped in for lunch. There are a few tables and chairs, nothing fancy, more on the style of a deli with seating. We had amazing food! Platter consisted of stuffed cabbage, sausage, pierogis, stuffed pepper, saurerkraut. Cold cuts sandwich was great too! However, the Polish dishes are a must. They have a cold case where you can purchase a drink, from water, specialty sodas and beer. Of course on our way out, we definitely purchased items to go!

Stopped in a had a Ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a roll. The counter person was very pleasant and courteous. The sandwich was prepared just right. The ham was seared, but not burnt, the cheese was perfectly melted and the roll was super fresh. I looked at the lunch menu and the sandwiches were very appetizing, but that will wait for my next visit there.

Great Find With Wonderful Mexican Food
We had difficulty finding it because they have moved from #1753 to #1700 Rt 17M (Palacio) and I've been unsuccessful in getting TA to update their address for navigation. You can drink and eat either on their porch or inside in their nicely decorated dining room or rear bar area. Lunch began with fresh chips and salsa (that contained plentiful onions). Unfortunately, their Enchiladas were soggy and undesirable. I thought that the food quality was better at their Highland Falls location where we'd eaten previously (but a subsequent visit found that the food quality had gone downhill there too). Too bad the food doesn't live up to the setting.

My friends and I stopped for dinner on our road trip to Oneonta. We were very pleased. Our waitress was lovely, she gave us some great advice on what to order (and not to order). The Turkey dinner was delicious! My friend had a grilled cheese sandwich, which she loved! Great service and good food.

Recently attended a company party. The service for the cocktail hour was excellent, very attentive , frequently came around with trays of appetizers which were hot, tasty, well prepared and seasoned. Salad served with dinner and pasta dish were very good. Entrees, however, were average at best. Chicken with lemon could have more lemon sauce, could hardly taste any lemon. Had veal which was bland, chewy, not well prepared. Somewhat disappointing for a company party. Not sure I would go back. Wait staff did not offer second cup of coffee or tea.

Stopped in on the 4th before the annual Harness Race at the Historic Track. Got a table outside overlooking the track. Ordered the requisite Bloody Mary's, which were nicely done. Appetizer and salad were fresh and quite large. Hostesses are the best around and the service is, as always, spot on. Goshen itself is a great walking town and we like to drop in on all the eateries. This one remains a favorite!

This is the only place that I go to for pizza. The owner, Sal, knows all the regulars by name. Great food and service. You can't go wrong at Village Pizzeria.
