Finally checked this one on my local bucket list. Had lunch and did the wine pairings which we usually don't do. Wife had frog legs and branzino--mediterranean fish, and I had the aged steak and charcuterie. Dessert was strudel. We both agreed presentation and quality and originality were excellent. All wines paired well and were treats in themselves. Prices were not crazy, and we plan to return in a few more weeks. Service was efficient, room charming. Absolutely no complaints or criticisms. Plus a nice drive through countryside to get there. WIne tasting area had a fair attendance for a day in the middle of the week, and Palladio was 3/4 full too. Ruins are worth a half hour look and walk.

We were driving through the area and stopped at this restaurant.
We were warmly greeted by the staff and were guided on what to order.
The bbq pork, potato salad, crunchy broccoli salad, the corn bread, the variety of bbq sauce - all excellent and I have eaten my share of bbq and its associated sides.
I highly recommend this restaurant- if you are in the area stop by

Not a lot of options for a simple cup of coffee in Gordonsville. KK fills the bill very nicely. Several different types plus the usual lattes, etc..
The lemon muffin and the scones were fresh and quite tasty. The day before we had the quiche for lunch. It was excellent!
Would I return to Krecek Kakes? Oh yea. If the weather cooperates, I would sit outside.

Our group who were participating in a archaeology lab expedition at James Madison’s Montpelier went here for dinner. Everybody raved about their meals. The food had great flavor and presentation. We had a chef in our group and he loved his meal. The service was attentive and friendly. This is a must do restaurant!

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, in downtown Gordonsville, Virginia, Restaurant Pomme provides an authentic classic French dining experience. The restaurant welcomes diners and guests to a warm and inviting recreation of the French country side-from food to decor. Whether on a day trip or gathering with friends and family, we wish to share our passion of food and wine with you. A votre sante et bon appetit.
Was traveling thru and this restaurant was recommended as local fare. Waiter was as rude and condescending as he could be. 2 ladies sitting next to me were throwing back the mimosas and have the most disgusting conversation.
My soup was good but if y’all are gonna put on airs and graces - then I suggest you serve it with the proper spoon.

We make a point of stopping in to the Inwood Restaurant anytime we are in the area. It is not fancy, and true be told, I think it could use a good deep cleaning, but the food is good and the people are good folks. This trip it was the burgers with all the trimmings, the fresh real french fries and delicious onion rings that called our name. We were not disappointed. The coffee was terrible this trip but had been better on other visits. Still will stop anytime we are in the region. Genuinely nice wait staff.

I do not like ordering from a touch screen. I ordered a hamburger. I do not like not knowing what what i order is going to cost, until after I select the item. My made to order hamburger was tasty, but I felt the price was 1/3 more than what I thought my hamburger was worth. My hamburger cost $4 and I felt it was worth about $3. I feel the price of a hamburger is over priced, and will look for other fast food, in an area, rather than buy from Sheetz, if i have a choice.

The eggplant parmesan sandwhich and lunch plate were both amazing, as Fabios knows how to cook eggplant. Highly recommend it.
The location leaves a lot to be desired -- a simple place in a strip mall by a Food Lion, but its a talented kitchen team that knows their pasta and eggplant.
The service was excellent as well. We made a mistake and forgot to mention to leave off an ingredient, and the kitchen remade the dish.

Ordered the Quiche Lorraine which was excellent. I've lived in Europe for many years and have eaten Quiche many times all over the continent and especially in France. Their rendition is as good as I've had anywhere. Lots of variety in their menu mostly with a French touch. Highly recommend.

High Quality American Fast Food made to order. Frozen Specialty & Soft Serve Ice Cream Treats. Chili Footlongs, Hamburgers, BBQ, Shrimp Baskets
The owners are super nice, however; the workers could use a lesson or two on cleaning on all areas. Including areas that the normal customer don't see. To keep a restaurant open while it's unknown where a severed finger's whereabouts form a worker is unacceptable, there was blood everywhere. Several of the patrons and rescue workers were on hand and knees, looking for the finger. All I can say is wow, and nasty!
The first responders had to shutdown the restaurant to prevent cross contamination. Let's just say the owners weren't too happy about that. Add for the food and the service, the food and service are most times OK. I
